Invictus
Ace Combat 6: Fires Of Liberation Developers:Project Aces Publishers:Namco Bandai Genre:Flight Action Platform(s):Xbox360 Release Date:US - 23 Oct 2007, UK - TBA Official website Ace Combat 6: Fires of Liberation takes air combat warfare to new heights as it boasts the new "Dynamic Operation System" where massive battles unfold on a "living battlefield," as up to six independent land, sea or air conflicts can break out at any time at multiple locations as allies and enemies clash in real-time. Players can experience the realism of war when battlefields come alive with engagingly authentic audio and visual effects: thundering explosions, dense vapor trails of air to air missiles, piercing machine gun fire, booming anti-aircraft artillery fire, mid-air explosions, gigantic columns of black smoke and more. Demo Hands on (ign.com) The graphics in Ace Combat 6 look gorgeous in most areas. Up close, some of the ground textures look like they're in a lower resolution than what would be ideal, but most of the time you shouldn't be next to the ground anyway. Enjoy the skyline views and you'll enjoy a long life, that's what I always say. You can swap between several views, including a realistic cockpit. In all of them, the right analog stick can be used to swivel the camera around which gives you a great view of the battle around you to get more info than the 2D radar can provide. MarketTantrik
Can Ace Combat 6 Save Xbox 360 in Japan? from Kotaku http://kotaku.com/gaming/prolly-not/can-ac...apan-297284.php ______________________________________________ What's the Xbox 360 game Japan is looking forward to? Less Halo 3, more Ace Combat 6: Fires of Liberation. Just check out the above pre-order display that shows AC6 all big and other games all regular. The Namco series has a big following in The Land of the Rising Sun, and since the latest entry is a 360 exclusive, Ace Combat 6 might shift a few consoles for Microsoft! At the Sofmap in Osaka's Den-Den Town, shoppers would stop dead in their tracks to watch the Ace Combat 6 trailer and move on once it was finished. Even old bald men gave the demo a whirl. That, dear reader, after the jump! _______________________________________________________ An F-16 beating Master Chief ??? Only in the land of Rising Whackos !!! CarbonCore
If you guys have doubt about this kinda game getting repetitive, try Unsung War on PS2. Just watching the replays of your mission is damn fun.
MarketTantrik
AC:6 is far far superior to Blazing Angels. Hands down choice should be AC:6.
