Just a few days ago we announced our first IVG Tournament for Killzone 2 on PS3. While that gets underway this month, October is when our first PC tournament kicks off, and by popular demand, it’s going to be Team Fortress 2. Registrations for the tournament are open till the end of Setpember, and the tournament itself will kick off in early October.

We’re very happy to finally introduce IVG Tournaments, something our members have been requesting for a long, long time. Starting this month, IVG will conduct two tournaments every month – one for Xbox 360 over Xbox LIVE, and one for PlayStation 3 over PSN. Once there is more interest, we also hope to start monthly tournaments for PC gamers.

IVG Tournaments will be meticulously organised and executed by the IVG community and will cover the most popular online multiplayer games on Xbox 360 and PS3, including Gears of War 2, Halo 3, and Killzone 2. And with games like Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 2, FIFA 10, Halo 3: ODST, and Uncharted 2: Among Thieves on the horizon, we hope to include as many different games as possible into our tournaments.
