Uncanny that the trailer got leaked and Rockstar did an early release! I'm currently at work and will wait till the evening (with a whole lot of patience and then some!) to watch the trailer on my big TV when I'm back home this evening.

Thanks guys for the input, appreciate it! After reading the above posts I went ahead and started Alan Wake 1 Remastered (PC) for another play-through after almost 10 years! The movement in the game does feel awkward but the story immediately glued me right in. It's a good thing I picked up AW 1 because I literally have forgotten how the game and story pans out. I could have gone and watched a recap video of AW 1's story but that just wouldn't be the same as playing through the game and having the full experience.

Planning to pick this up but I have a question: Had played Alan Wake 1 years back when it was released so have forgotten the story. Do you guys suggest I play AW 1 + DLCs before I get into Alan Wake 2?

I feel the problem with ODI's now is the 20-40 over period when things mostly slow down. T20 has spoiled us with the fast paced action!
