Black_Hawk
Rafa just ripped right through del Potro after that first set... 4-6, 6-0, 6-3, 6-2. So it's Rafael Nadal Vs Kevin Anderson of South Africa for the Final.
Black_Hawk
Didn't watch the match but ended up being a one sided contest with Nadal just ripping through in straight sets... 6-3, 6-3, 6-4. So, Sloane Stephens winning the Women's Championship and Rafael Nadal the Men's title. The Women's final was a walk in the park for Stephens winning it 6-3, 6-0. Heaven Angel
Was kind of obvious that Nadal was going to win after Federer was knocked out. Anyways, happy to see these legends are still AMAZING and give in 100% even at this age. Both hadn't won a slam for almost 3 or more years coming into 2017. Both won 2 slams this year. Nothing but massive respect and love. Thank you for some amazing Tennis this year. Hopefully, we will see more of them and will set an example for a younger generation.

Heaven Angel
Federer not taking part. Guess Nadal is favourite as always at French Open.

Daunting task to beat him on clay at the French Open. The weather is very moody in Paris today... constant umbrella popping in the stands acting as distractions to players
Heaven Angel
Serena vs Sharapova next round. ?
Black_Hawk
Djokovic knocked out by Marco Cecchinato ranked 72. It was a brilliant match, the last few games contained some top-notch tennis. Think it was Cecchinato's Mother in the stands, she went absolutely crazy with joy after the final point was won by him!
Black_Hawk
So far the SF line up... Men's Singles: Marco Cecchinato vs Dominic Thiem Women's Singles: Sloane Stephens vs Madison Keys Hoping Nadal can beat Diego Schwartzman tomorrow! Women's Singles SF: Halep vs Muguruza Keys vs Stephens My predicted final will be: Halep vs Stephens. OTOH, in the Men's QF games Nadal seems to be in a spot of bother. Lost first set and now broken again in the second set. Hope the drizzle clears up and he comes back to turn things around. Heaven Angel
6-2, 6-1. Ouch. Don't care who wins now. On this day in 2005, Nadal won his first French Open
Heaven Angel
I still think he will turn it around. Ugh. Čilić vs. Potro going strong. 5-5 first set.
Black_Hawk
No more play... looks like it's still raining in Paris. Too bad, just when Nadal was looking good the drizzle picked up into a steady rain and play got suspended.
Black_Hawk
Terrific comeback from Nadal beating Schwartzman 4-6, 6-3, 6-2, 6-2! That's how it's done. Came back with a fresh start today and a solid win for him. The Potro and Cilic match is proving to quite the battle but Potro should make it.
