Need for Speed: Hot Pursuit (2010)

Lol cops were there in Hot Pursuit 2 & Most Wanted as well , they didn't do it that time.

Plus the cops look absolutely stunning in this game , the siren lights flash so bright that even a sleepy gamer can easily identify which car is cop & which is not by looking at the mirror.

I would rather have the rear view mirror turned off , it looks hideous among the beautiful looking front view.

Actually it's very useful while playing as cops and deploying spike strips.

Uh... regardless of whether you're cop or a racer, technically shouldn't a spike strip ALWAYS be deployed behind you?

 The chopper deloys the spike Strip while playing as a cop , so it will be always ahead of you , not behind.

The cars will be chasing the racers...So u expect the cops to overtake racers and deploy spike strips behind

If u call spike strips the cops wont deploy the spikes with his car , the spike strips will be placed like half a mile or something ahead of the cop

Whn the f**k did i say cops deploy spikes in front

Yes actually.

Just for reference -

Weapons & Equipment (Police)

• Police Helicopter - The helicopter will track down a racer and will drop spike strips.

• Spike-strip - Will allow officers to drop spike-strips directly behind their vehicle.

• Road-block - Road-blocks can be deployed directly ahead of racers in an attempt to stop them.

• Electromagnetic Pulse (EMP) - Needs to be carefully aimed at any selected racer ahead of them for several seconds, before an electronic pulse is released which will reverse the racers controls and slow them down.

Weapons & Equipment (Racer)

• Spike-strip - Will deploy a spike strip directly behind your vehicle.

• Electromagnetic Pulse (EMP) - Releases an electronic pulse which reverses the directed vehicle's controls.

• Turbo-boost - This will allow racers to get ahead of opponents effectively.

• Jammer - Will be used to disturb and block all police communications, this includes deactivating spike-strips, cause helicopters to pull out of the chase, etc.

F*ck! The PC version doesn't have AA. It looks heavily jagged from the screenshots posted by the people playing the game. Forcing MLAA in ATI 5XXX cards gets the ball rolling it seems.

Athek, No split-screen. :(

No split-screen. Split-screen Cop vs Racer action would be awesome.

As of the Spike strip arguement, dont you guys remember in MW the roadblocks at time included an SUV blocking the path and the other part had a spike strip.. :wOOtjumpy:

I would still love to have spike strips to be put behind as its more effective and can be tough for the racers to dodge.

Spike Strips can work both ways (not in the game I mean). If an in-pursuit cop car needs an assistance, then it can give a CB message to the closest dispatch cop car and they can lay down Spike strips. So if the enemy car is ahead in the chase, which in most cases it is, then it's easy to nail the car down.
