Moyes helping United still. JUAuzCB.png

Bayern out of GK. Hopefully, Ulreich will recover quickly and stay fit till Neuer returns. Had to call Starke out of retirement for this game...

Another defeat for Dortmund. Wonder how long Bosz will last now.

Derby day. M8RpNwI.png

Manchester United vs. Manchester City

Venue: Old Trafford

Time: 16:30 UK

Manchester United manager Jose Mourinho: "I don't need to know that a derby is something special for the people.

Manchester City manager Pep Guardiola: "Going to Old Trafford is a pleasure. That's why we are here. I will enjoy it, definitely.

MATCH FACTS:

Head-to-head

  • United have lost seven of the last 12 league Manchester derbies, as many as in the previous 45 encounters.
  • This is the first derby since April 2013 for which the two clubs occupy the top two positions in the table.
  • City have scored a Premier League-high 27 away goals at Old Trafford.
  • United's only home defeat in 42 matches in all competitions under Jose Mourinho came in this fixture in September 2016. They have won 30 and drawn 11.

Manchester United

  • United are unbeaten in their last 40 competitive games at home, equalling the club record set in March 1966 under manager Matt Busby.
  • Jose Mourinho's side have the best defensive record in the Premier League this season, and only one of the nine goals they have conceded has come at Old Trafford.
  • The Red Devils have won four successive league games, their best run for 11 months.
  • Mourinho has won just four of his 19 meetings with Pep Guardiola in all competitions (W4, D7, L8). Only one of those victories came in the league.
  • Jesse Lingard has scored three goals in his last two Premier League games, as many as in the previous 51 combined.

Manchester City

  • City's 13 successive victories in a single season equals a Premier League record set by Arsenal in 2001-02 and Chelsea last season.
  • Victory at Old Trafford would ensure they equal the top-flight record of 14 wins in a row, set by Arsenal between February and August 2002.
  • Manchester City suffered a first defeat in 29 matches against Shakhtar Donetsk on Wednesday.
  • Sergio Aguero has scored in each of his last nine Premier League away starts.
  • Kevin de Bruyne and David Silva lead the Premier League for assists this season with eight each.

Hopefully cracking game. Let's go UNITED!

Yeah, the title race is pretty much over.

That's 14 straight wins for City. The most by a team in a single English top-flight season. The record was broken at Old Trafford and also ended United's 40 matches unbeaten run at Old Trafford. crpNrSH.png

Last time Manchester United lost on Old Trafford was against Manchester City back in September, the game also ended 2-1 for Manchester City.
