Hi, I am looking to build a gaming PC, will be using the existing 1080P monitor. I had initially planned to go with this configuration but heard that the processor is no longer available. Can you guys suggest suitable alternatives? My budget is 75k, I intend to build the PC that should be able to run all upcoming games for the next 3 years at a decent quality on my monitor.

Build I had planned for is as below:
Ryzen 5 3600
RTX 2060
MSI B450 Tomahawk MAX
2X 8GB 3200mhz RAM
1TB HDD
256GB SSD
Corsair CX550

Please advise if this is a good configuration, and suggest an alternative for the processor. Also is there any room to cut costs on certain parts based on the criteria I have?
Thanks.

Go with the Asrock B450 Pro4 instead of Tomahawk Max to save some money.
Get a 500GB SSD for games. [Probably a MX500]
I don't see a case mentioned in the build list

Got the below stuff.

i5 10400F - 13.2K

MSI Z490-A Pro - 14.5K (yeah, I spent more on the mobo than on the CPU :fear1:)

2x8GB G.Skill DDR4 3200 RAM - 5.4K

Samsung 970 Evo Plus 1TB SSD - 9.9K

Total - 43K

Now if I can manage to get the 3070 FE at 44.5K, the total cost of upgrade would become 87.5K, which is actually quite a bit lower than what I had initially estimated.

Yeah, Intel boards bit expensive. Congrats though! Very nice build and with 3070 FE, you are set for generation.

Where did you buy the ssd from? Did it come back in stock on Amazon at that price?

My Asus Mobo has given problems and requires to be replaced, it is 5 years old.

My AMD cpu FX 6320(bought in 2015) is now outdated and bottlenecks my Zotac GTX 1060, recent games I cannot run in High settings at 1080p like BF5.

I have 8 gb DDR 3 ram which I want to upgrade.

Budget 30K INR.

Please advice New Mobo, CPU and DDR4 ram 16 GB. Looking for best performance for price, either intel or AMD.

Future I want to upgrade for 4k 60 fps so need a decent latest CPU nothing costly.

I have cooler master K281 cabinet so Mobo needs to fit inside that.

I have a cooler master liquid cooler so I intend to use it for the new CPU.

My new monitor is here, added it to my setup.

I'm giving the 25 inch to my dad, will be used with his laptop.
But it doesn't have an HDMI port.
It's a smaller HDMI. It's a couple years old Lenovo ultrabook.

It's a mini or micro HDMI I guess, can anybody tell me which cable I need?

Looking out for suitable suggestions please on my post above.

May stretch my budget a bit for a cpu that can enable 4k 60 fps.

GPU I will upgrade next year once prices stabilizes for the new AMD Or Nvidia GPUs.

My current Mobo has an issue of overheating with the onboard graphics chipset, the heatsink is not doing its job. The temperatures rise very fast as soon as switched ON and the system shuts down, the repair guy advised to replace the Mobo, not interested to buy a new Mobo to fit a 5 year old cpu.

Do not understand why it's happening when I use a Nvidia Zotac GeForce 1060 GPU via a PCIe slot.

I wanted to know if disabling the chipset via BIOS option will help?

No issue with any other components according to the repair guy.

My Current Mobo is the Asus M5A97 R2.0

How much can you stretch.

For Ryzen 3600 based build you need 35K minimum.

You can get i5 10400 + B460 build for 30k, but B460 limits ram speed to 2666mhz only

Thanks, I could stretch 5k.

How about the latest 5000 series CPU from AMD ?

the Ryzen 5600x costs 27k now, it is successor to ryzen 3600x which costed 18-20k when it was in stock, both are 6c/12t but the 5600x will have better peformance obv and will be "future proof" than the 3600x.

Your choices are i5 10400 + b460 mobo + 16gb ram, these will be 30-32k

or ryzen 3600x + msi tomahawk b450 + 16gbram 3200mhz, this will be around 35k there abouts.

@PhantomShade thanks a lot for the options.

When the Nvidia 3060 card is annouced or AMD equivalent, will either of this CPU choices set up allow 4k 60 fps atleast at medium to high settings?

4k is so clear that I sometimes doubt anyone would notice the difference between ultra and high settings except in the fps counter.

3070 and 3080 is just too costly so planning an upgrade of GPU next year with a 3060 or AMD equivalent.

Guessing that AMD CPU GPU combo would perform better compared to an Intel Cpu and equivalent Nvidia under the same graphics settings ?

Require a wireless keyboard+mouse combo.

Essentially require both to work with a single USB dongle.
I do need caps lock light indicator.

Plz recommend.

Hmm, I don't know light indicator on boards. Been ages since I saw one.

Most of the keyboards come with software support and give you on screen indication when you press caps/num/scroll lock along with other media keys.

If that is fine, you can check Logitech Wave keyboard + mice combo.

You can replace mouse to other wireless Logitech. 304 for example. The keyboard is super comfortable and ergonomic built.
