reddevilgautam
Someone pls advise whether I should go for HTC S710 or Nokia E71. I am getting HTC S710 for 13k and Nokia E71 for 17.5k - so it worth spending 4.5k extra on the E71? I am basically looking for a good business phone with wi-fi... Man In The Box
Although the HTC S710 will pretty much do the job for you, I would recommend you to go for E71 as it will definitely be a better business phone.
Man In The Box
Okay I have a question regarding my HTC - P3450. It's working fine and all but the problem is that the battery life is too short. If I play music/videos in it for 1 - 2 hours, then the charge just lasts for 1 day maximum. I want to know if this is a problem with only my headset or are all HTC phones of this model. I must admit that I am using this phone since January and it used to have a decent battery life. Since the last month the battery life has really detoriated. I even bought a new battery pack for the phone 1 week back but still the results are the same. lastAvenger
I hope your WiFi remains switched off because its a battery killer. Also check that the brightness not on full because that can cause battery to drain too also check what all applications are running in the background because something else could be killing the battery
Man In The Box
Brightness is always on medium but my WIFI is switched on 24/7. I will keep it switched off from now on.
lastAvenger
^ Thats the reason my friend. Also after turning off the wifi, you feel that the battery life still sucks, just do a hardrest and format the memory card. This should re-store to its original state. Man In The Box
One more thing, my battery takes just 3-4 hours to become fully charged. Shouldn't it take like 8-10 hours on an average?
nameless
One more thing, my battery takes just 3-4 hours to become fully charged. Shouldn't it take like 8-10 hours on an average? Your mobile runs on a car battery? Almost all mobiles charge in 3-4 hours and in some cases even lesser than that.
lastAvenger
Mine charges in about two hours and 3-4 hours sounds alright. 8-10 hrs is only in initial charge i think

lastAvenger
^ I dunno, i have been hearing that this will be costing 25-30k atleast this is what was posted on erodov forums. I will personally suggest you to wait for HTC Android G1, i m kinda liking it, dunno Btw HTC Touch Pro is costing 35k
Death Stryke
Nah, wudnt be above 23k AFAIK, its not a feature heavy phone. The GI phones and htc pro etc are a different league altogether. The 5800 is targeted to be a mid level phone.
Grimmjow
1 week more, price rumoured to be around 20k.
lastAvenger
I dunno. G1 seems to be multitouch enabled too. There were rumors going around that its going to be tied up with Bsnl lol plus one can easily unlock that phone too
