Fans Reaction To Street Fighter V PS4 Exclusivity Deal, Hardly Any Outrage

Earlier today, Capcom stunned gaming community with an announcement of next installment in Street Fighter franchise (although accidentally), Street Fighter V exclusively for PlayStation 4 and PC. The nature of the exclusivity deal between Sony and Capcom for Street Fighter V is not yet know, we expect Sony and Capcom both to clear the air at PlayStation Experience event.

But how does internet react to this "PlayStation 4 Megaton Announcement", does the response/RAGE is similar to the one we saw at the announcement of Rise of the Tomb Raider for Xbox One and Xbox 360 at E3 2014? It doesn't look like that as MOST USERS are appreciating the move from Sony and are calling it a response to the deal between Microsoft/Square Enix/Crystal Dynamics for the next installment in the franchise.

@AngelNexus @tordavis I agree, exclusives and competition are good. Just the hypocrisy is always funny to watch from Sony fanboys.

That's Markman from GAF.

Yeah felt sorry for them but the boos weren't directed at them or even KI, just Microsoft. And mostly for snatching exclusive rights to next-gen TE sticks because no one gives a sh*t about KI at EVO.

Yeah right..Nobody gives a sh*t about K.I

Killer Instinct Reaches Over 300 Entrants For Evo 2014

Evolution 2014 is looking even grander for Killer Instinct as the number of entrants has been revealed. According to Shoryuken, KI will have 338 players competing for that $15,000 winners pot–not bad for a game that hasn’t even been released for a year, right? With more characters and new content releasing later this year, that number is expected to grow with future tournaments as the game continues to gain more-and-more popularity within the fighting game community. It’s highly possible that we could see double the amount of people and even a greater pot at next year’s EVO!

A complete look at the event’s registration numbers can be found below.

  • Ultra Street Fighter IV – 1979
  • Ultimate Marvel vs. Capcom 3 – 1014
  • Super Smash Bros. Melee – 970
  • BlazBlue: Chronophantasma – 508
  • Killer Instinct – 338
  • King of Fighters XIII – 319
  • Injustice: Gods Among Us – 311
  • Tekken Tag Tournament 2 – 25

Do you even watch Evo or just googled it like everything else? KI is bottom of the barrel stuff along with sh*t like Injustice and Tekken Tag. Even Smash which is not a real fighter has way more entrants. The only reason KI even reached that number is because the event was sponsored by Microsoft.

Yeah, Adam Boyes emphasized particularly on "This is the only console where you can play SFV ever" or something like that!

Co-developed by Sony, so basically like Bloodborne.

Biggest news however is USF4 coming to PS4, can't wait :D
