Patch 1.04 Now Available on PS4

Hi Everyone,

We just put live an update to the PS4 version of Ashes Cricket.

Patch notes for this update are as follows

- Additional photogrammetry for English players
- Added static camera options
- Adjusted crease positioning to spinners
- Adjusted non-striker reactions
- Adjusted display time of ball marker online
- Adjusted timing of return to crease after shots
- Restructured statistics calculations
- Rectification of various anomalies

A number of these changes are to bring the PS4 version in line with Xbox One, while others will be available in an update to that console shortly.

Thanks for all the feedback on the game so far!

Thanks again, and apologies for the issues with the previous update.

Game is just too easy even on legend difficulty. I am easily hitting sixes just like the old games like Ashes Cricket 09 or brian larw cricket. Even career mode is easy, easy to score runs.

Is every team available with proper names and whatnot? A friend said only Australia and England are fully licensed. wVQMkei.png

The community update or whatever it is called, is it available and easy to do on PS4? The game is not available on PC.

All Indian domestic teams and IPL teams are up in the Academy for download! This along with all the updated international teams - means we are ready for a full-experience career mode now on Ashes Cricket!

Thats great news..

We know you've been waiting for this, so here's some great news!

Ashes Cricket to launch on PC on December 16!

We’re very pleased to announce that Ashes Cricket, lauded as the best cricket game of all time, will be available on PC via Steam from December 16.

The game, fully licensed to this year’s Ashes Cricket competition, includes photo-realistic renders of both the English and Australian Ashes squads, for both the men’s and women’s teams.

Additionally, all the depth in customisation that is synonymous with Big Ant games is available in Ashes Cricket – play any format of the game, create your own teams, players, uniforms and stadiums, and then share them with other players around the world.

The PC version has all the features of the console game, and players will be able to access any shared content created on either the Xbox One or PlayStation 4 version. Additionally, the version that will be launched has all patches that we’ve released to console to date.

From Big Ant Studios! Congratulations PC players

Why are camera angles so sh*t in this game? After ball is played, the camera pans way out to show where the ball went. How f**king difficult it is to have a TV style presentation when we select broadcast camera for fielding? Games released in 90s did this better.

Also the replays are f**king horrible. Only one or 2 cameras that too far away. I expected better from this. Takes away immersion from the game. I wish they can patch it.

Agreed....Camera angles mainly when shot is played totally is poor mainly because instead of focusing on the ball it follows the fielder which messes it up...
