I have a lot of books I don't need anymore. About 500 or so.

I mean, if there isn't a way I'll end up giving them to random people or my school library, but I wondering if there is a way to sell them?

Whatever money I make can go towards a new game, or maybe even the next console.

I'd just give them away to younger kids who like to read, but I don't know any kids. No cousins either.

Please advise. Selling books on OLX seems like a very tiring process.

If you would be so kind as to DM me a list of Enid Blytons please

@Walker very kindly took them off me, but I still have quite a few books, including my set of The Chronicles of Narnia, and other complete collections.

If anybody has an idea the best way I could possibly sell these off please do tell.

Can someone suggest a good soundbar or 5.1 speaker system (wired not preferred) for using with android based TV/PS5(in future) for a bedroom? Not sure what to get, and planning to purchase in the upcoming sale. Budget not decided yet, but nothing above 30-40K or so.

If I can use my phone's bluetooth to listen too, that's a plus. Also, how's the latency on bluetooth based audio devices?

I bought iffalcon k2a tv 2years back. It died 1 week back. Its still under extended warranty Jeeves. They are saying they would give 70% refund of tv cost.

Can I trust Jeeves? I need to return my tv and wait for refund and i dont know how long.

Ask for some acknowledgement through mail and a receipt with Jeeves stamp on it..

So I was looking at ACs and getting Samsung spilt inverter AC 1.5 ton for 31k with no cost emi. The energy efficiency rating is 5 stars.
Should I buy it?
As I said in the other thread, General is the way to go. Samsung, LG and others don't even come close. Don't go by their ads saying it will chill even in 50 degrees, once we get proper heat season with temp above 45, only General ACs can handle.

Talking from personal experience, we have General ACs in our house when there were no shops of General in my city, import was the only option. We had other brand ACs lile LG, chickened out in a few seasons, neither do they last long nor do they chill enough in extreme heat.

That being said, anyone can get a faulty price, that is just the way these things are. It depends on luck but I have hardly heard anything from General im this regard.

No

Samsung has alloy condenser very bad for heat dissipation

Your best bet is Daikin or lg the later gives warranty on pcb which is a huge deal and inverter acs are plagued with outdoor pcb faults if you live in high humidity areas

No need to spend 60k on a ac , Just buy for 30-35k and keep the money for future . Any ac from these brands will last you 8-9 years easily . In the 10th year replace the ac for a newer model and much lower power consumption

Would not recommend Samsung and LG to be honest for ACs for ACs go for specialist who mastered at it Mitsubishi, General,Daikin, Carrier.

You can pick and choose any of above if you are using less than 1.5 ton if you want more than 2 ton would recommend Mitsubishi or General only however this is also subjective as a individual we always want the best product but in reality the not so best for someone could be best for us.

The ones which I would recommend to avoid is Onida, Samsung and every other brand which comes up with a AC model.

The problem with these brands are stability and they start giving up within 3-4 years cooling gas issue, water leakage or complete breakdown and people nowadays don't really get into repair of products if it's really old.

You can check details on AC technologies in India here they have recommended ACs as well based on power usage

I dont have a preference. Im open to a good soundbar or receiver+speaker combo.

No one I know uses a soundbar so I dont have 1st hand reviews of how they would sound.

Get a high end 2.1 rather than a soundbar. Or a decent 5.1.

Edifier/Swans can get you good options in that price range.

Please recommend a good laptop

Requirements:

- Fast and snappy

- Good camera

- Good screen

- Will be used mostly for spreadsheet work, Zoom/Skype calls, web surfing

Good camera? Thats usually not something I see people asking for, but I see why.

Anyway, since it its a work laptop, I'd say prioritize weight. I assume you're gonna have to carry it around after COVID season.

Go with Dell XPS if in budget, or LG Gram, or similar ultrabooks. Just go as slim as possible, my experience with heavy laptops is not good.

Macbook Air is a great option as always, same range as Dell XPS series.

Thanks! Looks like XPS and Gram are way over budget lol. I was thinking around rs 50k.

By "good camera" i really just mean a non-shitty one. Just for web meetings.

There is a Dell Inspiron at that range. Should be options from Asus (Vivobooks) also, but I don't think they're that slim. I own an i5 based Vivobook myself, its a few years old but I picked it for the Full HD screen. The screen is great, but its bulky. Has a disc drive for f**ks sakes. Very annoying.

The Asus Zenbooks are the ones which have the slim profile. Unless you're willing to go with an older iteration of the Gram (should be around 60K if I'm not mistaken). Current models are definitely more costly.

Most webcams are not much good, but don't think it will be a problem since everybody in the meeting will have a shitty webcam lol. I use an external one with my PC from Logitech that I've owned for a few years.

Go with a thin ultrabook even if you have to shell out a bit more out of the wallet. Worth every penny in my opinion.
