manutd4life Posted November 21, 2019 Report Share Posted November 21, 2019 (edited) Hi guys , so my problem is that my 1 and a half year old ps4 is now starting to shut down randomly without any overheating warning I am thinking about a complete teardown and giving it a good clean and also replacing the thermal paste while at it Now what i want to know is if i do remove the warranty sticker from the back will Sony service center still do the replacement procedure of my console , has anybody tried it Any input will be very much appreciated Edited November 21, 2019 by manutd4life grammar Quote Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...

Just curious, if you open up the system to replace the hard drive with a bigger one, does that void the warranty too? Na you don’t have to open the console up to access the hard disk, Sony has given us a separate provision. So you can swap Hdd without effecting warranty.
