supersim
Ok.. But i think the hike in price of entry level luxry saloons has been implemented ??? It has been proposed , hasnt been implemented yet there is still some confusion. Dealers themselves dont know . Would be a huge blow for the likes of BMW , audi , even skoda/VW , honda , toyota which import some if not all engines . An article regarding here If there goes through expect a increase of over 6 lakhs in entry level luxury models of various brands :\

Solitaire
If there goes through expect a increase of over 6 lakhs in entry level luxury models of various brands :\ WTF is wrong with the government.. So an individual like me can't dream of owning an entry level BMW 3 series but someone who can afford to buy a 7 series anyway (obviously not the kind that'll save up cash half his life to buy that 1 car) gets to buy said car cheaper. This is just wrong. Bloody industrialist-serving government. So many of the budget policies indirectly tax those who don't quite have a lot and give sops to the bigwigs instead. WhiteWolf
TATA PIXEL The Tata Pixel also introduces “My Tata Connect” — the first integrated human-machine interface (HMI) concept from Tata Motors for its new generation programmes. “My Tata Connect” enables seamless integration of the user’s smartphone or tablet with the vehicle’s infotainment system and also allows controlling key functions of the car. Inspired by Tata Nano, the company recently exhibited the Tata Pixel concept at the 81st Geneva Motor Show. The new model comes with ‘scissor’ doors that rotate upwards from the front, thus making entry and exit convenient for passengers. The boldly designed four-seater vehicle incorporates a forward sweeping roofline and a key function controller termed as ‘My Tata Connect.’ This controller is based on a machine interface (HMI) concept from Tata Motors itself. Designed with pure exquisiteness, the car stands apart for its Zero Turn toroidal traction-drive Infinitely Variable Transmission (IVT) that rotates the outer rear wheel forwards, the inner rear wheel backwards and the front wheels at acute angles. “Tata Motors holds true to its belief that there is an opportunity in Europe for a city car, which is optimal in space, manoeuvrability and environment-friendliness. The Tata Pixel is a reflection of Tata Motors’ idea of what such a car should be,” highlighted Carl-Peter Forster, Managing Director and Group CEO of Tata Motors. The three metre long Tata Pixel boasting of an optimized aerodynamic drag and stop-start technology accommodates four passengers. Along with a 1.2 litre three-cylinder turbocharged diesel engine, the vehicle was also displayed with low rolling-resistance tyres and a unique battery charging system. Designed to offer all-in-one touch screen display, the car has a low-friction engine and a sophisticated look. Apart from the Tata Pixel concept, the company unveiled Tata Indica Vista EV that will make its debut this summer in the UK. The Tata Pixel concept will soon undergo production stages and hit the European market.
