Rahane has to perform next match.

Else he'll surely be dropped..

Don't think so. For some reason fans always call for his head whenever he underperforms, even when he was doing well on the away tours he never seemed to have cemented his place in the eyes of some people. He will atleast play the SA series and unless he performs extremely poorly I don't think the question of dropping him will come up.

I think this is the best chance for us to get a win in SA. Historically we always had a weak spot, batting or bowling wasn't at par. Especially we never had such in form pace attack. Bhuvi, Shami, Yadav and now Ishant as a back up. Dare say this is the best pace bowling attack we have ensembled on an away tour.

This time both departments are in excellent form. Hopefully Rahane may get some runs in next match as his performance outside india is great and we need him in form.

Kohli should play SL Odis cos he needs to stay in touch.

England showing some fight. Well bowled Anderson, unfortunately target is still too high. England should take this slow. Enough time to chase down target, one good partnership can win them this match.

Meanwhile not too surprising to see Rahane being sent early. But team management should refrain from chopping and changing too much when dealing with an out of form player. What if he fails (as he almost did with that lbw shout)? They tried the same with Rohit who batted at many different positions, finally they played him back at 6 and he started scoring again.
