Just synopsis of what I know.. -Last over 2 head high ball bowled. -Ban felt should have been no ball for height. -Then drinks came in -One beeper told Perera something which turned into ugly fight. -Then Umpire shut him down -Now all management , team of Ban comes out. -Biggest beeper of all Shakib thinks of himself as a Mafia head -Asks team to come in and end match -Then someone spoke sense and they continued. -Next ball 4 -Next ball 6 to win it big -All beepers come running in with Mafia head trying to do a Lords Ganguly.. -Just made a fool of himself -Beeped up team, attitude And thats it.. It seems, from what I hear, that as soon as the first short-pitched ball was bowled, the square leg umpire signalled that it was the one bouncer for the over. But since the batsman had a swing (and a miss!) and there was a referral, the umpire at the bowler's end didn't make the signal for the bouncer in the over. Accordingly Udana wasn't told either. Now as soon as the 2nd short pitched ball was bowled, the square leg umpire, rightly, signalled no-ball. Clearly he wasn't aware that his colleague hadn't told the bowler that he had already bowled one. And so, the umpire at the bowler's end reasoned, again rightly, that since he hadn't informed the bowler that his quota of bouncers for the over was done, he couldn't now penalise him for a second bouncer. It seems then that it was, originally, an error on the part of the umpire at the bowler's end. The Bangladesh players had reason to be upset given that a place in the final was at stake, but that doesn't justify the terrible reactions that followed. Both were below head height n were legal. shakib n banglas felt it was no ball and called the batsmen to walk of the pitch and end the match. batsmen n the 12th man fought with perera n few other players. Once they won, whole team did nagin dance. After the match, they hv broken glass and have caused sme damage in the dressing room.
