On prithvi shaw.

Team India insiders said that Shaw could be seen smoking in front of his teammates and displayed fondness for a drink every now and then. “The injury he sustained during a practice game in Australia was not so serious that he should have been sent home. But the fact that he appeared casual about it prompted the team management to take such a decision,” a source said.

Shaw’s approach to work and discipline were also questioned, with a few insiders pointing out that whenever there was a need to put in the hard yards, he would sneak inside the dressing room.

There are also stories of Shaw’s late nights during the last IPL when he would hardly be seen at the breakfast table in the morning.

That's worrying. Seriously.

Smoking for a cricketer in fact any sportsperson is a death wish.

They already have issues with high adrenaline, smoking makes it worse. Plus It weakens the muscles and reduces the stamina like anything.

I hope he gets sorted, he needs more of those pep talks, some more time with Dravid perhaps.

Dravid is a nice guy, i don't think he'll bother with him if what is written is true. They made him meet Sachin and that apparently resulted in nothing.

Still remember watching a video during their u19 wc win where someone (Shaw or shubman ) was referring to dravid as just Rahul as not sir or anything. The golden generation was so much better than this current era of arrogant sobs.

Dale Steyn, the legendary South African pacer, has announced his retirement from Test cricket. The 36-year-old said that he made the decision to prolong his career. Steyn, though, will continue to be on a national contract in white-ball cricket and therefore is available to play for South Africa in One-Day and T20 Internationals.

Kohli is brilliant. Gives 100 % everytime.

One of my friend has a friend who works for Indian Team Management.
He reaps praise on Virat. When it comes to commitment, seems no one is even closer to him..

Brendon McCullum announced his retirement from all forms of cricket and confirmed he will no longer be part of the Global T20 League and the Euro T20 Slam. The former New Zealand captain, who retired from international cricket in 2016, will call it quits after Toronto Nationals' final league game against Montreal Tigers.

Navdeep Saini, India's promising pacer, was found guilty of violating Article 2.5 of the ICC Code of Conduct for Players and Player Support Personnel in the first T20I against the West Indies in Florida, and was handed one demerit point.

The aforementioned incident for which the player was charged took place in the fifth over of West Indies' innings when Saini picked up the wicket of Nicholas Pooran and subsequently, gave him an animated send off that "could provoke an aggressive reaction from a batter upon their dismissal".

The player accepted the offence and sanction laid out by by match referee Jeff Crowe, and as a result, there was no need for a formal hearing. On-field umpires Nigel Duguid and Gregory Braithwaite, alongside third umpire Leslie Reifer and fourth official Patrick Gustard, listed out the charges.

Damn! :(
