Just like old CS fast, simple yet tactical. It has 4 modes although I only tried two. No option for custom matches but you can create a party with friends. I didn't encounter any lag in all the matches I played. Most matches had few bots mixed with human players, which might change after the EU release. The game supports mouse, keyboard and move controller. They have Steam integration on PSN or they dropped it silently? Yes it logs onto steam but you can't play with PC players. Graphically revamped. - Same controls same gameplay. - Some new maps and 2 new game modes Arms Race and Demolition. - Demolition is with fixed set of weapons. Kill and in next round new weapon. relatively small round time. - Arms Race like death match. kill and next kill with new weapon. Interesting. - Pings were definitely issue for launch night. Mostly it was 150-200, few community servers established for India too. Played on Hyd server with 70-80 ping. - compared to old CS:S and CS, maps are very few. Some additional weapons added in SMGs and 1 LMG. - From today onward IMO, with more Indian players getting their retail copies, gameplay should be good with less pings. Then lagging would be judged properly IMO. - My personal feel is I did get excited about the game, but kinda felt that there is nothing new. I would definitely be happy if new maps and some new game modes get added later on. If one wants to play CS with goody goody graphics, then only should try this game. Else, CSS is more then enough. KJD Posted August 22, 2012 Report Share Posted August 22, 2012 ADS is really something that I have missed in CS series. Hands down CS would rule the MP universe if ADS would be in place. ADS kinda makes gameplay quite real imo. It gets pretty weird if some COD / BF player instantly starts playing CS. you try to knife, and you forget to swap knife, You try to nade, and you forget to swap nade. Damn. i downloaded the beta.....a few mins after it launched, the beta bit went away, dunno why u retail guys have to download stuff? Isn't this happening with some other steamworks enabled games too? I noticed this kind of thing last with CODMW3. I had got retail copy and after installation steam client downloaded some amount of data. Same thing is with sleeping dogs too. LA Noire too.
