^^ UE3 latest revisions have already demonstrated a diverse color

palette. This demo has a tone to match the setting. I have no doubt that

color will not be a problem.

+1...Mirrors Edge, ME1,2 and 3 and Bioshock Infinite all are colorful games powered by U.E 3...

Okay. I think only latest UE3 game i am playing right now is DMC...which looks sharp and good too but again confined to few colours on screen.

Bioshock Infinite also uses UE3??...only seen one video of it and it does look good colour wise also.

Guess Latest UE3 games are better in producing more colour shades on screen...

It has little to do with the engine itself and more to do with the consoles capabilities. They cannot handle complex material networks as well as the PC.
Unreal is an extremely powerful engine, and has an amazing material system that allows you to create any style you want. The problem is the more nodes plugged in, the more resources it takes, and therefore on consoles you need to keep everything trim for performance.
Generally on consoles they leave the shader networks fairly bare, only having a diffuse, spec, and normal map with maybe a cube map on important assets. Sometimes to save resources they will downsize the normal map, and then add a ton of contrast to the spec map to still highlight edges and detail. This gives objects in unreal games a lot of that signature "wet" look, but saves a ton in performance because you cut a map down by a quarter the size.
On PCs though you can pretty much do whatever you want and have 10-11 texture maps in one material to get the look you want. You can setup materials that will know what direction is up, and over a period of time will realistically collect snow until completely covered. You can also do crazy things with texture blending with whats called vertex painting which consoles do utilize sometimes. For example uncharted 2 and 3's ground textures(not unreal I know) almost all use vertex painting to get awesome transitions between sand/brick, snow/brick, ect. On PC though you can set up all your textures to have vertex painting no problem which will amp up the quality ten fold.
So as developers got more familiar with the console architecture, they were able to find better solutions for their UE3 powered games, and implement them on the consoles too.

Bulletstorm is UE3 as well, as is Borderlands 2.

Kojima doesn’t want to limit his games to “any one platform”

Hideo Kojima announced Metal Gear Solid 4 at a pre-E3 Sony event back
in 2005. At the time, no gameplay was shown, but it was confirmed to be
a PlayStation 3 exclusive.

These days, we tend to see Kojima’s projects on multiple platforms.
Metal Gear Rising: Revengeance – a game that Kojima Productions assisted
with – saw release on both the PlayStation 3 and Xbox 360. And Metal
Gear Solid V: The Phantom Pain was recently confirmed for the same two
platforms as well.

So how about the future? Could Kojima ever show up at E3 down the
road and announce a Metal Gear Solid project exclusive to the
PlayStation 4? EDGE posed a nearly-identical question to the Metal Gear Solid creator in this month’s issue.

Kojima believes that cloud
gaming/technology is the future and “if you’re going to enter the cloud
generation then there will be a lot of different devices involved and a
lot of different ways to interact with that game world.” Therefore, when
it comes to exclusives, Kojima doesn’t want to limit his games to just
one platform.

Here’s his response in full:

“It’s a tough question to answer. Obviously, I do like Sony, I
respect them and I have a lot of things in common with their way of
thinking. I think the future of gaming is with cloud technology and
cloud gaming. I love Sony, I have a Sony camera, but I think if you’re
going to enter the cloud generation then there will be a lot of
different devices involved and a lot of different ways to interact with
that game world. I don’t want to limit it to any one platform, but I’m
not going to say I’m not going to participate in the events. This time
[for the PlayStation Meeting], I kind of would have liked to
participate, but I was here tending to Rising’s world tour.”
