I don't know how many of my posts you have been reading thoroughly but I mentioned this on more than one occasion that most of the time superman is defeated by bats merely due to bad writing. .. in other words, poor writing for Supes (out of character motivation, out of character intellect/tactics), who could have undidthe Bat's plan easily. So yeah, Bruce stacks the deck and I don't think he 'beats' him, more like survives him. Examples like Hush and DKR I don't mind, but when you have the Kyptonite Hulk Hands likeDark Knight Strikes Again, I call bullshit. And please stop basing your facts on just one work, that too of a comic adaptation (a good one but an adaptation nonetheless). I am not trying to play you down but believe me when I say I know a lot more about Superheroes in general than you do. P.S. I have not even read what the others have written in the previous pages. Nemo Posted April 20, 2013 Report Share Posted April 20, 2013 Go & watch The Dark Night Returns & then give yourself a Tight Slap!!! bunch of delusioned to the point of insanity bat fan boys here superman will beat batman 10/10 every day of the week and thrice on sundays. anyone believing otherwise does not quite comprehend the difference between a regular human (howsoever peak, still human) and some one who essentially is an omnipotent god. only reason batman "seems" to gain upper hand in comics is because the writers know how ridiculously mis matched the fight is, the only way batman is coming out alive is if superman doesnt even touch him with so much as a kabooter feather. supes cannot be allowed to land a blow or throw stuff as it would mean the end of squishy flesh and bones that is batman. moreover the only "Wins", such as they are, batmam has managed to get are ones where his biggest accomplishment is not getting killed and snapping supes out of mind control by some twist of fate; but tbh if you are batman up against superman, getting away with all limbs intact with working lungs is sort of a Win.. so yeah i will give you that. the only way bats can hold off supes is if has massive kryptonite supplies and coordinated help from other superheros. and that too is a way way waaaay long shot. cause for one, kryponite doesnt mean automatic win. all it does is make superman weak, bats still has to contend with superman's invincible skin. just as a severe bout of flu does not make it any easier to stab someone with a paper knife, similarly kryptonite exposure doesnt mean superman is down for k.o. also i remember someone saying only way superman can defeat batman is by having element of surprise. seriously ? that much of daftness. even if we manage to discount the many many ... many ways superman could kill batman and focus on probability of superman having a surprise jump on bats, we should not be hard pressed to post scenarios where a person, who could circumnavigate the globe before his opponent could even bat (pun unintended) an eyelid, will have time to wtf!-Own the other guy. batman can have all the plans and anti-superman spreys in the world, he still has to think before doing actions and by the time his brain could send signals to his limbs to act, he will be but a bloody, pulpy smear on superman's fists. All based on the fictional godly powers handed to him by the creators yes, fictional powers.. given by creators.. becoming a valid counter argument in a vs battle between comic book heros. i think internet just assploded under the levels of b.s. I just showed the biggest stage set for battle between the two which ended in superman alive and batman sleeping with fishes.. and no, batman didnt mercy pitied superman there, forgiving someone suits a person only if he can really inflict harm upon the person. Batman has made more money in recent times then any other superhero character His animated series & countless different versions of them.....even going as far as batman beyond were much more dominant on TV & media His movies were highest grossing in Hollywood For a super hero His videogames Even the failed versions b4 Arkham series made shitloads of money & don't even talk about the amount of merchandise sold in batman's universe Joker alone made more money then superman I think in recent times Anyway this discussion is over How did money spinning even get into the equation ?
