The company says it sold more than 960,000 consoles in the U.S. during the week of Black Friday, of which more than 800,000 were sold within a period of 24 hours, according to internal sales data. Xbox was going for freaking awesome price ...it had $75 off on kinect bundle and 4gb slim with kinect( and 3 games free) was going for just $199 and that was just on amazon others had better deals also.......honestly at that price even i would go for xbox gladly.... so much sales is not that surprising when you have this awesome pricing ... anyways ps3 slim also had decent offer but not as good as xbox....i believe even ps3 must have done quite well....but not nearly as good as xbox i guess...somewhere around half a million. wii on other hand was very poor..i read somewhere that it was above 280 on best selling list on amazon... Sadly, Nintendo and Wii diid alright too. Fils-Aime added that the Wii had its best Black Friday ever, shifting 500,000 units in the US over the weekend. Source. Sorry man. Also 3DS sales in 8 months have already overtaken what the DS did in its first year. With two of the biggest months of the year still to end.
