185 mm :O that is more then SX4 i think...

dont know the actual measurement, but of all the cars i've driven SX4 has the best ground clearance, and as you pointed out lineas GC was bad, to better it than SX4 they must have planted heels on the car :P

yup city, i heard horror stories about civic from my friends, din't know cruze was that bad too.

Speed Breakers specially some of them are pathetic in bangalore, with single driver the diagonal trick works, but if you have 3 or 4, it's a gone case. I call them Car breakers instead of speed breakers now.

cruze's GC is lower than Civic's, but in Mumbai we no longer have the deadly speed breakers. However, SX4 is like a boss, even if you cross a speed breaker at a high speed, it does not scrap the bottom :smokey:

In HSR Layout, when my i10 carries 3-4 people, it always hits, unless i go super slow.

Carroll Shelby passes away at age 89

]Carroll Shelby has passed away at the age of 89. The legendary tuner and proprietor of the famous marque that bears his name had been in the hospital for several weeks, suffering from pneumonia. Shelby addressed his fans fourteen days before his death, saying that he was resting comfortably and being taken care of by his children.

[/b]

Anyone familiar in the least with automotive history is well aware of Shelby's vast vehicular exploits, so we'll just touch on them here. Carroll was a successful race car driver in the 1950s before creating his own racing team to take on the likes of Ferrari, using Ford-powered sportscar called the Cobra. Suffice it to say, Shelby and his Cobra were extremely successful. Later, Shelby's name would become synonymous with the fastest and most powerful Ford Mustang models ever created.

  • 2 weeks later...

Guys, I am planning on gifting my parents a Hyundai Eon.

The car will be basically used to run once a week between Cuttack and Bhubaneshwar (30 odd kilometers one-way) and a trip to my parents villages once every 2-3 months (100 odd kilometers one-way).

At any given time, there will no more than 3 people in the car.

Does Eon makes sense?

Thanks guys. Do you have any idea how is the waiting time for the car? My parents are here with me for 90 days. My plan is to get my younger brother to buy the car and have him pick them up when they go back to India in August and surprise them. Hence the question about delivery time.
