So, technically lifetime warranty. ^^ Depending on the type of damage and whether you have registered the said product if I am not wrong, right OR wrong. Technical warranty is 90 days. I have exchanged controllers, with broken triggers, analog sticks, even the battery compartment. no need to register the controller. console registration is required. but you can register console at any point, so that is moot. why else do you think I love MS support. So does it means I can get a replacement for the controller from MS , the controller was bought from US since its not available in India and console from India. Does MICROSOFT have international warranty terms? It says (warranty statement) you must have proof of purchase otherwise they will not replace the stuff here in India. Cheerio! Controller that comes with console has unlimited exchange and there is no way to say which one came with console, and which one was bought separate. For me, they had asked me my console's serial number and asked me to E-mail them a scanned copy of my purchase receipt (which I did). Create a service request on their website, a guy will call you within 2 days confirming your shipping address.
