This doesn't look like a Kz game tbh...It's so colorful and bright... :|

For once i agree with you..

 

Despite being shown as the vetkan side... for this colorful bright overtone... it has got too much of sci-fi overshadowing it than the previous iterations.. which is what i hate..

 

Oh yeah.. prefer the rusty helghan side.. colors..

Hmmm surprised that the character models aren't improved by that much...

It's probably an early build of the game, and I'm sure they'll flesh it out a lot more before release.

The developer (or someone yesterday) said that it's like the Berlin wall during the cold war time. It looked nice at the end of the cutscene, where the player is on the wall, and the drones/sentries from both sides surround him :good:

 

screens are amazing .... but is it confirmed to be real time / cut scenes with game engine ?

 

But that leap from prev gen to this gen is not there .... i was :O when i saw Gear of War first time on my HDTV .... that surprise is gone .... still looks good though - 8GB RAM is terrific !

I'm sure the scene where things blow up, is scripted, because it looks like the control is taken away from us a few seconds before the explosion. They're probably in-game cutscenes like Uncharted where you have a seamless transition from cutscenes to gameplay.

 

The leap from the the previous gen to the xbox probably looked so big, because it was a transition from SD to HDTVs at the same time. This time around, the TVs remain the same, but every change is only because of the technology upgrade of the console (PS4).

Also, the little things that are happening in the video, are pretty significant. Like the reflections, and the thousands of objects being shown at every scene.

Nothing in that demo was "cutscene" :spank:

:fear: not a 'cutscene' but i guess it's just scripted :P

 

This for some reason doesnt feel like a "killzone"..

It's just not as brown as KZ3 and 2, I think. I'm sure, once we control the player, the heft of the (lethargic) movement and the weapons will make us feel at home :)
