I've stopped using PA since JB came out. 213 DPI just fits regardless of the app. So, I just stick to CM10 Nightlies at the that DPI. Also, I just recently switch to the Phone UI and almost puked! 320 on the Note looks like an ugly fat girl.

f**kers, first they copy designs, Second they Copy Software, Third they name gazillion devices Galaxy, and then they pull this, pathetic. I Hate there plastic sh*t anyway, i think after this i would rather buy a LG/micromax then a Samsung.

lolwut ? why is it a problem if they name their devices galaxy ? Thats brand recognition .... same reason why apple names everything starting with an i !

Planning to buy a SD card for note. is 16 gb sufficient? I will not dump music, movies on the card and will keep deleting the older lot.

is this the right choice: http://www.flipkart.com/transcend-memory-card-microsd-16gb-class-4/p/itmczcrqpdjzzqy7?pid=ACCCZ4FFDSUJG99J&ref=1a9fb76c-164d-4a57-bc49-89998f1054bd

Currently using One x(not happy with its battery life) thinking of buying S3.

1. How is the battery life ?

2. is it a good move ? (from one x to s3)

On your one x how long does the battery last? On my s3, it comes to 1.5 days with moderate internet usage.

They are pretty much the same phone not an upgrade at all, you can look at Note 2(if you are ok with the size), or try some diff ROM's and see through a couple of more months to check some new quad core phones that might come up.

ALso if you are ok with iOS, new iphone is just round the corner.

I dont want to spend 20k on a device on a device which still comes with gingerbread . Sony :wallbash:

That isn't the major problem considering you can manually update it. For me, Sony and HTC are currently the best brand to buy an android phone. Sony have been very fair on giving ICS update and unlike samsung, they actually worked on it. They completely changed the UI, Icons and settings.

I hate the fact that they don't change much between different OS versions however, I don't think they are to blame for it. The average consumer doesn't care for things like these for the simple reason that if after using the phone for half a year, the UI changes (even a bit), they get confused.

I once changed just the launcher for a friend (adjusted the icons like his previous setup) and he got so confused that he constantly nagged me to changed it back.

Android is known for It's customization. Launchers, widgets, apps, ROMs and what not -- there's something for everyone.

But you have no idea how many people go about using android phones without changing a damn thing about it. I've S2/ICS/Apex launcher and that dandelion live wallpaper. I was browsing on my phone one day, and the guy next to me asked if it was S3....I told him its S2 , he pulled out his S2, and told me, "but its so different, is it some new model" ?

^It just goes on to show how important familiarity is to more than 90% of your customer base. U dont want to change the look all the time. its one reason why OEMs skin android and retain their own look. Look at Samsung, or HTC. They dont sell android as much as they sell their own experiences like touchwiz and Sense which look largely same, atleast touchwiz. Even on JB touchwiz looks exactly the same.
