Ah! I thought there would be some feature in the game that allowed you to do that, like NGS2 has for its team missions

 

there is a badass sword to the left of the dragon God. How do I get it? I killed that dragon but I still cant get to the sword

White world tendency required, or is it white character tendency? I forget. Either way it requires high stats to wield and not really very helpful.

And you need Pure White world tendency to get that Dragon Bone Smasher. People mostly use it in pvp for its knockdown effect, even without the required stats.

Now how do I get the pure white world tendency?

 

I am using the Great Axe for heavy duty bashing. Now I just have to hunt down enough stuff to use dragonstones on it

Pure white world tendency - Kill all bosses in the world, don't die in body form.

Btw...what if I do it like this:

 

Kill a boss > Get back to Nexus > Kill myself in body form > Kill the next boss > repeat.

Works, that's why so many people suicide in the nexus.

defeating black phantoms also helps major ones only

i first do pure black then kill the demons to get major boost to white after killing the premivial demon

One more thing...is it just as easy (as offline) to change world tendency while playing online ?

WOW!!!!! the game is so awesome........

 

i was a bit apprehensive about getting this because of the much publicized difficulty,

and indeed it was really painful in the beginning but then i read up on it a bit and now it seems to be really fun.

The blue/black phantom mechanic is very well done.

Brushwood? Good for tanks / heavy weapon users. Helps you take a LOT of dishing. Your dexterity plummets though. There are two ways if I remember - one is by killing a NPC called Biorr in end of 1-3 or after that (one of the stupidest moves you can make since he's a huge help), or you can get one at the beginning of 1-4. I won't spoil the surprise. Suffice to say I saw what I was facing and wanted to quit then and there - this is after a tough boss battle. I couldn't believe the level designer could be so sadistic.

4-2 how was your first time with the backstabbing ninja assassins?

What ninja assassins? I could hear their "teeheehee" well before they would attack me. The only thing that did bother me were the golden skeletons. I had foolishly dumped my halberd and only had my spear on.

Ah I play with the sound down so got caught off guard the first time - barely survived. The golden skeletons were easy with some bow and arrows.

Till now, the only challenging boss I have faced was the flamelurker. I was teh last man standing simply becuase I had a bucketload of herbs
