Joy Posted June 20, 2009 Report Share Posted June 20, 2009 Those PG guys Dragon and piracyrox are really good with shotgun , also I think they lag in our matches, as they take extra bullets to die even if you're shooting at their heads , like they have the body armor of assault class even when playing as engineer. Plus their placement of bots is also excellent , both are very good with shotgun as well , taking full advantage of the auto aim which shotgun provides. I today played with shotgun for a while , and it really helps in auto aiming at the incoming enemy , and one shot one kill.Those who can master the engineer class can single handedly win matches as half of their work is done by bots on ground as well as air. Killzone 2 is fun as well as frustrating at times due to some minor things in the core gameplay which makes the game unbalance sometimes , still its awesome to play. Those who can master the engineer class can single handedly win matches as half of their work is done by bots on ground as well as air. you can master any class and make your team win.. and trust me engineers are helpless most of the time when the enemy is far away.. they can't do anything they can juss hide.. plus 50% of the time if you go past an old bot you planted it will explode suddenly and the game will show that you commited suicide.. and it's not as easy as it sounds to master the shotty if you miss 1 shot or the enemy is far away from you then your dead.. the reason why your finding engineers frustrating now is because A LOT of ppl have started using this class + air bots post 1.27 patch to camp spawn points every class is balanced imo.. after 1.27 even assault has become balanced.. i hardly see rockets in gi games now.. I was doing the exact opposite. and CROUCH for long range shots.. and NEVER use the scope.. it's useless for long range shots juss crouch and BURST FIRE instead of using the scope.. long/short or medium range you will kill an opponent within 2 - 3 short bursts and burst firing reduces the recoil also.. I myself tried the shotty today , it does help aiming a bit.This I truly agree that Shotgun is ineffective at long ranges. I myself never play with any other weapon other than assault rifle , still today played with shotgun for a while and was doing pretty well , and I could feel it that it auto aims on the target on which you are trying to aim for kill. I myself never play with any other weapon other than assault rifle , still today played with shotgun for a while and was doing pretty well , and I could feel it that it auto aims on the target on which you are trying to aim for kill. maybe that was because you used the shotty for the first time there is no auto aim man it was removed long time back.. and that other direction thing isn't because of the auto aim.. it's because of LAG imo.. and you see engineers firing like that because they are always close to you (when they kill u of course) ive noticed that many times with saboteurs also.. with smg and shotty you always get kills at short range.. that's why you noticed it most probably..
