SchizoidFreud
Original Post: Vinitwins We know that no publisher is going to write "REGION FREE" on the box art of their games. Even though there are some publishers like Ubi Soft who have unofficially stated that their X360 titles will be region free, all publishers do not subscribe to this philosophy. The REGION FREE status conferred on some games is the result of testing by video game stores, users & warez groups who share their finding via forums and blogs (there are software utilities available that can confirm the region status of 360 isos, but mostly it's the result of physically testing the disc on different region machines). Luckily for us there are lots of sites that aggregate, compile & publish findings from all these varied sources into a easy-to-check list. Some popular region free lists: http://www.xbox-sky.com/xbox360_regional_c...tibility_guide/ Ever since the 360 region free list was pulled off wikipedia.org, this is considered by many to be *THE* list to refer to. http://vgplus.blogspot.com/ A video game store in Canada that regularly checks new NTSC-UC titles for cross region compatibility http://www.play-asia.com/paOS-00-3-xbox360...uide-49-en.html A popular e-tailer in Hong Kong that ships low-priced Asian region free games worldwide OTHERS : http://wiki.xboxic.com/Region-free_Xbox_360_Games http://reviews.ebay.com.au/Full-list-of http://www.avforums.com/forums/archive/ http://icruise.wordpress.com/2006/08/

Fire Wolf
^ No, you're wrong. Only NTSC-UC copies are region locked, PAL copies work on NTSC-J consoles and vice versa.

Bulovski
There's no Ozzy or Indian PAL AFAIK. It's just PAL. However, NTSC differs between US / Canada and Japan.

Bulovski
Really depends on the region compatibility of the games. Check the links above find out which region games are compatible with your system.

Bulovski
Region compatibility totally depends on the titles. You have to check title by title - there's no thumb rule to say that NTSC UC will work on NTSC J or PAL or any combo. The closest thing to a thumb rule is that Ubisoft games are supposed to be region free. But since you have a singapore console I suggest check each game for compatibility. Blaze Of Glory
Hey Guys ! I am planing to buy a 360 from UK according to this link: http://www.psreporter.com/pal_system_tv_standard.html The UK version uses PAL-I, Plug D and 240 V & The Indian version uses PAL-B, Plug B and 230 V My friend got a Nintendo Wii from UK and it works here so I don't think Voltage should be a problem... (let me know if you don't think so) The PAL versions are not matching, so will The Indian games work on it?? PLEASE PLEASE PLEASE HELP!!
