The Alchemist Posted April 7, 2012 Report Share Posted April 7, 2012 I bought a new 4GB XBOX few days back and found in System Info, it shows a memory of 3GB instead of 4 and the free space as 1.3GB, am wondering if something wrong here... any thoughts wud be helpful... Not all memory is give to you That's not true, it is impossible to manufacture an exact memory, you cannot manufacture 4GB exact and it is also because the memory card companies take 1000 MB to be 1 gb, 1000kb to be 1 mb and so on so forth while the OS takes 1024 mb to be 1 gb, 1024 KB to be 1mb , the memory loss just racks up.
