He's been hanging around the Indian dressing room for a long time so obviously the squad believes in his talent. Just because he didn't fare well in the odis doesn't necessarily imply that he'll fail in tests.. His domestic record is way too prolific to be ignored. Even if he's primarily a middle order batsman, I don't think he'll find it too tough to adjust into the opening slot at DELHI of all places. That is why playing him and murali in the odis and champion's trophy is critical. Maybe also experiment with sending them for a county stint. But he should get a chance...I would also like to see Dinda bowl..He's quick , if the pitch keeps low or something he can be a handy bowler..
