@Madmage any wireless ? and does the cable bother while play and how long is the cable ?

Wireless, the good ones are in a higher range than your budget. The cable is not a bother at all for me and the wirre i think is atleast 10 feet . I am not sure cos I sit around 5 feet from my Screen while gaming,.

Is there any way to make the gameplay sound come out of the bluetooth headsets rather than the TV?

which headphones u using??

I have the PX5 and i can just connect RCA audio cable from transmitter to the TV.

The transmitter then directs the audio to the headset.

Here's the headset -http://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B003O6N64Y/ref=oh_details_o00_s00_i00

Here's the cable - http://www.amazon.com/RiteAV-Stereo-Audio-Cable-12ft/dp/B000UZA7PI/ref=sr_1_11?ie=UTF8&qid=1336569098&sr=8-11

guys need a headphone around 100 to 150 dollars and must support xbox/pc/ps3 and 5.1 or 7.1

There is another set also: Tritton AX720 for 129$ (excluding import fees and shipping charges)

If you guys want bang for your buck, I think Sennheiser HD 202 is the best. I used it for gaming and listening to music for about 3 years before it broke. One of the best headphones I have bought. :walkman:

Edit: If you can spare a little extra money, then Sennheiser 515 is great as well.

im no expert on this matter, but try out the jvc HA-RX700. they are cheap ( around 3k )and sound good to me. :walkman: they are closed ear type so outside sound shouldnt bother you too much.

I am get a bit of heat for this one but the surround sound headsets are bullshit if u ask me. i tried the razer megalodon and the roccat kave( the kave had a nice vibration to go along with the bass though :) ) and both failed to impress .

tried some senhieser ones below 5 k but they sound meh :fear: That is when i already have a asus xonar essence STX sound card

pls dont flame if my taste in headphones suck :) just gave my honest opinion for whats its worth :hi:

I want good noise cancelling headphones.. there are few on Amazon for less than 50 $ but I am confused as to which one to buy.. kindly advise mate..

Noise cancelling headphones for $50. :surprise: . The best Noice cancelling headphones are 'Bose Quite Comfort 3 Accoustic Noise Cancelling Headphones'. They are expensive but worth to get them. Once if you use them you will never think of any other headphones. They work for both gaming (if your tv has audio jack) and music.

If you know someone in US then ask them to get for you. Its cheaper than UK. I used both QC2 and QC3. But QC3 is BEST  .

Hi,

What headsets or ear gear do you guys use when you play? Just a thread to discuss quality audio devices for gaming. Mine is this one:

By far the best investment that I have made. You can look them up for reviews and feedback but they feel good, they sound good and they have sound modulations that I haven't heard elsewhere. I have tried the Sony official ones, I have also tried a TurtleBeach. Not sure about others but this one, highly recommended.

They have the A 50's and its a wee bit more I guess for wireless - if that's something you need.

Cost: 250$ (A bit on the steeper side but worth the investment)
