Virtua Tennis 4 gets PS3 exclusive features

Legendary players, party games and Home content

Sega has revealed that PS3 owners will be receiving a few exclusive goodies in Virtua Tennis 4.

PS3 players will be given access to three exclusive 'Legend' players in the form of Boris Becker, Stefan Edberg and Pat Rafter.

As well as the exclusive characters, the PS3 crowd will also get two exclusive party games, Pin Crusher and Net Blitz, the latter of which is playable using PlayStation Move.

Sega is also planning to release a PlayStation Home mini-game to coincide with the French Open. It has described the game as having a "Space Invaders feel to it". It will be available from May 22.

Series creator Mie Kumagai has told CVG that PlayStation Move is probably the most accurate motion controller when it comes to playing Virtua Tennis 4.

Yay?

Virtua Tennis 4 Gets Two Demos Exclusive to the PS3

SEGA will be delivering two demos for the upcoming Virtua Tennis 4 that will be exclusive to the PS3. Just last week it was announced that the PS3 would be receiving exclusive content for the game in the way of a few extra legends and party games.

Players will be able to get a jump start on the "board game style" career mode by playing through a portion of the first year which will include character creation and a few tournaments. The progress will be saved and transferred to the full game for those who purchase it. This particular demo is expected out on April 12th in the US and 13th in Europe. A second demo that showcases the PlayStation Move and 3D features will be coming as well but the release date has yet to be nailed down for that one.

It's disappointing for those on the 360 that no demo has been announced, but at the same time one hasn't been specifically ruled out either. It could be that a more basic demo or one featuring an opportunity to try out the Kinect functionality will release. That would make these PS3 demos technically "exclusive" in the sense of what they offer rather than being the only platform to offer a chance to play the game pre-release.

How much more are Sony gonna push this game......?????

Played the demo...

Usual Arcadish VT gameplay..

i felt it was a bit slow compared to previous vt..my player was still in lvl 2 , may be thats the reason..

Demo shows almost everything the game features...u'll be playing few arcade modes 2 or 3 singles match n 1 doubles match...

There's timing to the shots this time..however it does'nt show how good ur timing was like top spin but if u mistime the ball looses pace , rarely goes out of the court...

The volley animations when near the net looks odd...

world tour is not good as top spin career...

U cant play with move in this demo...Only DS3..

Should be good for people who liked previous VT..

will wait for 1 more demo..
