Shadoken
Â Â Â Â Sony should just re-released PS2 . Â TBH i dont blame you guys ...PS2 era games have been something that no generation will ever get. Â That gen is the peak of consoles for me. We had 4 Console manufacturers , all pushing out their best games. Nintendo actually had current gen tech , MS spent bajillions on funding many games. Sega went out with a bang. And Sony got more dev support than they ever imagined. Â Almost every modern relevant genre were defined in that period. Â FPS - Halo ( consoles) , HL2 RTS - warcraft 3 MOBA - Dota MMORPG 3D Fighters - VF,Tekken Hack N Slash - DMC 1 Open World AAA - Shenmue,GTA Action Horror - RE4
dante77
you guys are not talking about the real issue. THE CONTROLS! shitty controls for 360 controller and KB+mouse. I don't want graphics, I want better controls. Implement better controls and Capcom have my money.
Heaven Angel
Â Yes, it will have native keyboard and mouse support. Â Native keyboard and mouse support with customizable key binding, mouse sensitivity, and mouse acceleration settings. Â Control options wise, it will have the following: 1. Custom key binding for both keyboard and game pad 2. Inverted aim ON/OFF 3. Mouse acceleration ON/OFF 4. Mouse sensitivity 1 ~ 30 5. game pad vibration ON/OFF Â The Features section on the Store Page has been updated since we're getting tons of question about proper KB+M support. Heaven Angel
Â Â From developer: Â Â Feature wise, the new PC version is based on the Xbox 360 version, which in turn is based on Wii/GCN versions. Â Many of the texture assets have been redone (not everything, mind you) from the ground up, as you can see in the screenshot gallery on the Steam Store page. I've uploaded a handful of side-by-side comparison shots for good measure just to give everyone an idea. Â The game has an option to toggle between original and HD texture pack. HD texture pack is approximately 5GB while the standard pack weighs in at 1.6GB (they're in separate directories). After excluding common redistributables such as DirectX and Visual C++, the game itself comes out to about 11GB. Â Similar to the Xbox 360/PS3 version, most cut scenes are rendered real time and in-engine. Some cut scenes, such as those from the Separate Ways content introduced with the PS2 version, were only captured in video. Aside from that, movies such as the opening CGI movie are naturally upscaled from the original 2005 release (again, same with all other versions). Â Graphics Option - Game allows you to select whatever resolution your Windows OS supports. That said, the game is optimized for 1920x1080 (16:9) format running at 60fps and has been tested as such, but it seems to work in higher resolutions as well. Anything beyond 1080p has not been formally tested and therefore not 'officially' supported by Capcom, but I've had it run fine on 2560x1600, 2560x1440, and 1920x1200 settings. Your mileage may vary. In-menu, the game will also have anti-aliasing options up to 8X, three shadow quality settings, aforementioned texture quality toggle, full screen on/off toggle, motion blur on/off toggle, and one other 'fun' graphics option that I just won't mention at this time so as not to ruin the surprise. There are other graphics options not surfaced via the in-game menu, but I'm sure many of you tinkerers will find it without problem. Standard disclaimer: any tweaks you make outside of the game menu aren't officially supported by Capcom ;-)

Aftrunner
I will stick to the gamepad. Event the Wiimote made the Wii version ridiculously easy. I cant even imagine how pointless it would become if mouse controls are as tight as they can be. Â The only other alternative would be to add "sway" to the aiming reticule to balance out the mouse accuracy and that sh*t was super goddamn annoying in RE5 so no thanks. Did you guys play it with the gamepad? IIRC, 360 controller didn't work properly when I played the original RE4 on PC. So, I was actually referring to both. If anyone of the controls are done right. I am fine. Though I'd love to play it with KB+mouse and prefer that over the gamepad anyday
SpearHea:D
RE5 controls were good but had little bit problem with qte events . Now it might sound ridiculous but trust me re4 keyboard controls were blast . Once you get hang of it its so easy to control and fun to play .
