devil_angel
So, I see people looking at their phones all day, and banging into poles, losing jobs, wrecking lives....all while having great fun playing this game. And I realised there's no thread on IVG for it. So there you go!

Nr.Draca47
Finally someone created a thread. Was waiting for somebody to do the job [emoji14] The game is good but adding to the daily chore of excessive charging, i fear for my battery. Another point is that it is pay to win, eventually you will run out of pokeballs, and pokestops cant provide you enough unless you have an access to one while sitting at work or home. Gyms are a gimmick, the more people fight, the more potions are needed which can only be bought from shop (once your free lvlup potipns are depleted). You can always catch new pokemons but higher CP ones either need lots of balls and hope one ball catches it or buy Razberries. The gyms crapped up defensive AI is pathetic. Shadoken
I have never seen a game get this much mainstream attention ever since idk? Pacman? Literally everybody is on it , shops are giving discounts based on what Team you join. And the game has more daily active users than Facebook and Twitter in the US. Just freaking crazy , hopefully they can maintain the hype by adding some more depth like battling and update with more Pokemon. Finally someone created a thread. Nah I wouldnt call it directly pay2win. I mean you cant pay to directly evolve your pokemon or just insta win a fight , you pay to basically restock your inventory. Which will run out if you dont make enough Pokestops , depends on where you live I guess. Gym is also you get stardust for maintaining a gym so it helps u level up. VelivolusDas
I have 3 Poke Stops in the area of my office which are just 2 minutes away. 1 of them is in the compound of my office building itself.

R a g h u
I wanted to create a thread but then, we dont have threads for mobile games. Anyways..i dont think its pay to win completely. Everyday on my way to work I stop at the pokestops and collect everything. Been playing since 3 days. No issue with pokeballs yet. Also, each pokestop refreshes within 5 mins. There was an instance where i was busy catching somepokes around a pokestop and the pokestop refreshed allowing me to collect from it again. R a g h u
Dafaq this is Someone explain? Like everyone is playing it Its a pokemon game with augmented reality. You go around the place you are in search of pokemon that you catch to complete your pokedex or battle using the pokemon you caught at locations called Gyms. You refill your inventory by going to locations called pokestops which are usually some famous locations in your area which are mostly temples and coffee days from what i have seen so far. If you ever played or watced the anime, it would be easier.
Big Boss
I am out of pokeballs. But my society gate is a pokestop
Nr.Draca47
My nearest pokestop is 15min away  I am at level 8.75 and feeling the pinch of pokeballs. Lets see how many levels can your work/home pokestops help you grow and the toll on battery (maybe future updates improve it). Whatever be the case, there is an option to request pokestops in your area (fill a form at pokemon go support page). Although it's going to take a bucket load of time. zen
Any update on Indian release date? Release it on iOS plox Just change your region, or make a new account and download it. I keep a US apple account just to download beta and updates. On android, there is an api you can easily find.
R a g h u
Release it on iOS plox Create a US region Apple ID, change the region of your phone to US and download the game from App Store. Once downloaded, change back to your original apple account and play. The game syncs to a google account that it asks you the first time. So, when it is officially released in India, you can just download the game again and use the same google account.
