PS Fan
Google and Asus just announced a brand new console, based on Android of course, and coming packed with entertainment features and the ability to play Android games on a TV with a gamepad. The new console is called Google Nexus Player and will be available for pre-order from October 17th (it will hit the shelves on November 3rd) for $99, includingthe console with integrate microphone for voice search. The gamepad will be sold separately for $39.99. Between its gaming features Google touts stunning 3D graphics, free online multiplayer and achievements synced across all your android devices. The lack of gamepad (touted as a precise gamepad for serious gaming) in the package is probably due to the fact that many third party controllers can work with Android. Sach4life
I think if this thing sells enough A lot of PS360 wii-u games are gona be ported on it I don't see developers making new games for it I am disappointed I was expecting goole or apple to enter the Market big time Don't expect Google or Apple to enter gaming with a proper console or anything like that. The amount of money in the console hardware business is less than what those two companies earn from their other avenues and to enter console gaming in a serious way and challenge traditional players would require a lot of time and resources. It is not really worth it.

Save maybe a streaming hub but you already have Chromecast and Apple TV for that.
