WhiteWolf
A new indie game casts you as a heavily armed serial killer murdering ordinary people, as the disturbing first trailer is released. New isometric shooter Hatred has been purposeful courting controversy with a hyper violent trailer that involves nothing but killing civilians. The game is by little known Polish developer Destructive Creations and casts you as a psychopath with a hatred of humanity, who simply wants to take out as many people as possible before he himself is killed. The trailer is below, and we advise caution before watching it as it involves the character shooting and stabbing ordinary men and women as they beg for their lives. We’ve not played the game, in fact we’d be surprised if anyone has yet as it’s not out until at least April next year. However, it not only looks reminiscent of 1997’s Postal but has the same basic premise. Postal was also from a no-name developer looking to make a name for themselves, and in Postal’s case at least the game turned out to be awful and was not a major hit – although it did spawn two equally bad, but supposedly more satirical, sequels. Aftrunner
I still dont understand why everyone is losing their sh*t over this game. Its going for shock value but is it really any different from MW2 "No russians" or Mortal Combat finishers or GTA rampage mode or about a billion other games that let you do a billion other disgusting things? Ultra violence in games is not a new concept. Maybe the context here is a little more out there but that is about it.

WhiteWolf
Looks awesome Game is powered by U.E 4 I still dont understand why everyone is losing their sh*t over this game. Its going for shock value but is it really any different from MW2 "No russians" or Mortal Combat finishers or GTA rampage mode or about a billion other games that let you do a billion other disgusting things? People are hating this game coz game rewards you for killing civilians..Killing civilians is your main objective in the game...This is not the case with GTA games...Moment you start killing in GTA, entire police force comes after you and kills you in seconds In GTA 4 you get no reward for killing innocent civilians in hospital.. here Hatred rewards you with cool sh*t for killing civilians lol.. WhiteWolf
************ Epic Games Asks Unreal Engine 4 Logo Removed from Hatred’s Mass Murder-Driven Trailer Epic Games isn’t involved in this project. Unreal Engine 4 is available to the general public for use “for any lawful purpose,” and we explicitly don’t exert any sort of creative control or censorship over projects. However, the video is using the trademarked Unreal Engine 4 logo without permission from Epic, and we’ve asked for the removal of our logo from all marketing associated with this product. http://www.dualshockers.com/2014/10/16/epic-games-asks-unreal-engine-4-logo-removed-from-hatreds-mass-murder-driven-trailer/ lol Bring it on to PS4 beeches! The Panda
I thought you meant they should be allowed to keep the logo. I was talking about Sony and MS' permission thing! Why would I care about logos and other such things? Must have misunderstood with that highlighted headline! My bad! Will remove that!
