Hanchu - gamer marketplace app

Hey folks,

Please test drive Hanchu, available on Google Play (click here) and give us your feedback.

We have a beta version of the app where you can buy and sell used console games. Seller can list their games at their price. Buyers purchase directly from sellers and pay through payment gateway to Hanchu. Hanchu transfers the money to seller after delivery.

In addition, Hanchu provides packaging, door-to-door logistics and we have a fair buyer and seller protection policy. Buyer has 48 hours to verify the game. If game is not working, Hanchu picks up game from buyer, tests it and sends it to seller. Partial or complete refund based on if game is working or not. This ensures seller protection as well.

Would request you to try it and let us know your thoughts about it. Would love to improve the app based on your feedback.

Thanks

Puneet

U dont have a category for PC!!!!!

Dude!

Thank you for your query Anubhav. Unfortunately, we don't have a category for PC. We are working on certain backend issues to make PC possible, but it may take sometime. We will release a version on web as well as iOS.

Our understanding with PC gaming is digital codes' sales. Just to understand better, how would you sell your PC game? And what would you expect from the platform? Please share your thoughts on this.

Thanks.

How will one sell a used PC game?

Thank you for the query! We are ironing out some chinks for selling PC games on Hanchu, so you cannot sell PC games on it now :(

But, please share your thoughts on how one would sell digital codes for PC games? We are trying to create a process that is easy and streamlined for this.

Would appreciate your inputs.

When can we expect an iOs app ?

Thank you for your query. That's a good question. In all honesty, we are trying to get some confidence with the Android version of the app, trying to get feedback, polish it and add features that users want. Once this is done, we'll release it on iOS as well. Maybe, by March 2016. Website should be ready by end of Dec 2015 or Jan 2016.

We'd love to accelerate the process, it just depends on app acceptance and good/critical/constructive feedback. :)

Hope this helps.

Please use Hanchu and share your feedback.

Thank you for the comment. For now, we are asking some friends to list their games at low prices to drive some initial transactions. Would request you to try it out and let me know your experience. Would love to hear your feedback.

^^Add 200 bucks to that

Thank you for your response. Yes, we are adding a convenience fee because we provide:

1) Pick up the game at your doorstep

2) Package the game

3) Do quality checks - physical inspection with pictures

4) Ship it to buyer

5) Payments processing - crediting sellers' accounts or refunds back to buyer's accounts

6) Returns and verification processes for handling cases of damage, wrong game, not working condition & shipping the game back to the seller

Based on initial feedback, we want to tweak this number to keep it fair to gamers as well as us. Would request you to please use the app and give some suggestions on the pricing we should follow.

Thanks again.

Hi there.. Good idea to begim with.

Query : 1. how will the payment done? Is COD available?

2. What are hanchu points? Redeemable anyhow?

Here are some suggestions:

1. Found only 24 titles for ps3. Please include more.

2. For some games(top spin) , charges are more than the price or they make the game less attractive and more pricy.

3. You may wana include google log in.

4. No option to sort the titles (price: low to high) etc.

Hi there.. Good idea to begim with.

Thank you for the feedback. It is really helpful.

Query : 1. how will the payment done? Is COD available?

Payment is done through PayU payment gateway. COD is not enabled at the moment. We can enable COD from buyer's end, but I'm not sure if we can do that on seller's end. Would you prefer COD on both sides?

2. What are hanchu points? Redeemable anyhow?

Yes, Hanchu points are redeemable. We provide Rs. 100 off for every 500 points accumulated. We are presently estimating the points, the redeemable feature will be introduced in 2 weeks in cart (by end of November).

Here are some suggestions:

1. Found only 24 titles for ps3. Please include more.

I am reaching out to gamers who want to sell their games and requesting them to sell them on Hanchu. There maybe more titles added slowly depending on the number of people I am able to reach out to.

2. For some games(top spin) , charges are more than the price or they make the game less attractive and more pricy.

That is true. Hanchu lets sellers set their price and in some instances, the game price maybe a little higher. We will start sending notifications to gamers recommending the price bands if the game is not sold within 3-4 days after their listing. It is a manual process now, but once we have a few transactions, we will get a bearing on how much each game is sold on our platform and price accordingly.

3. You may wana include google log in.

Yes, actively working on it. No later than end of November.

4. No option to sort the titles (price: low to high) etc.

This feature has slipped through the cracks. Thank you for pointing it out, will implement it ASAP.

Please try to do a transaction and share your experience as well. Would love to hear your thoughts on that.

Thanks much.
