Today during its E3 2013 briefing, Ubisoft announced The Crew, an all-new racing game from Ubisoft Reflections and Ivory Tower. The game will launch in early 2014 for Xbox One and PlayStation 4.

The Crew was first revealed by an information leak late last month.

The game will allow players to drive across the United States and the gameplay is described as "driving at its most exciting."

The Crew features an "online persistent world," Ubisoft said. Some of the locations shown were New York, South Dakota, Miami, and Las Vegas.

Ubisoft Reflections previously worked on Driver: San Francisco, while Ivory Tower has contributed to the Test Drive and Need for Speed franchises.

By far my most favorite game till now, though Ubi said it has a single player component too, so it might not be a MMO Racer

+1

Well executed concept from test drive unlimited2

NFS online is a gr8 game, i have only one complain about it & that's the lack of proper X360 controller support, after the 1st race each time the game doesn't detect my usb controller

The box art for this game is sick, totally love it, wanna see the PS4 Box art, Blue FTW !

Well then, there goes a great concept down the drain, at least for now & considering devs these days, they wont back down even from a failed concept, unless they are really improving, i played TDU1 it was decent, saw TDU2 vids on YT, the car crashes, the overall handling felt awkward, by watching those it didn't feel like the gamer had satisfying control over the car like most NFS games have.
