The Wolfy among us
Azaan, borini subbed at half time, stated that it was ankle injury. Not sure how long he'll be out. Agger, calf or knee or something. Looked serious. At least two weeks. Kelly, twisted knee, maybe not serious.
Rashmeet
The team just made me prouder today. 60% possession at an away game against defending champions, and they had just the attack to show for it. I know the goals didn't come but they didn't go either, barring that collective erroneous moment by the team. The passing had shades of 2003-04 side, just lovely to watch. And what an impact Steve Bould has had on the side, everytime we were hit by a counter attack, I just wasn't worried. Mertesacker you beauty, he was well guarded by others to stop the pacy players but he held onto every challenge that came his way. Headers, slides what not, so bloody well played. Hope his form sticks from now on. We should use him at the far post when defending corners. Jenkinson, take a bow. Every attack, every goddamn attack was led by him. And he just does not stop. What an improvement over last season. Same for Ramsey, despite being a little sloppy in the second half, he showed immense improvement and a brilliant work rate. Cazorla, Santi and Diaby bossed the midfield. Garcia and Rodwell were nowhere to be seen, Yaya too was shunned for the most part. Poldi had a quiet game, but he was lively early on, but Gibbs was wasting chances to cross. Gervinho had a hit and miss game, should have scored at least once. Hoping Giroud finds the back of the net soon too. Also about the L'pool game, the red may be debatable but if it was given, Evans deserved punishment too coz his studs were facing up too. And I thought Shelvey's anger towards SAF was justified, it really seemed like the red was given because the whole team and SAF starting crying about it. Also the penalty decision was a blasphemy, Valencia clearly slipped/dived, Johnson barely even had contact.

One hell of a dedicated player. Funny moment when SAF was talking to Carragher when he was going to come on lol
Rashmeet
Dont you hate the zonal marking tha arsenal are employing ? The goal was conceded because of that. It's worked in most matches. Had Vito not come out, the defenders would have surely challenged for the ball, Jenkinson was in a position to get a touch on it. It's ok though, as long as Bould learns from this and makes amends.

Rashmeet
Rio had suarez in his pocket good result Yeah Rio was good, but Suarez was all over the field, he was quite unlucky to have not created or scored a goal. Also did anyone read? Small section of Manchester United fans ignored Hillsborough tribute at Anfield and chanted during it Pathetic. I fail to believe that such fans have passion for the game or club, they're just hooligans.

neoragexx
In the short term I'd rather lose with hope and a plan than watch us squeak "magnificent victories" or rely on players who don't want to be here next season. We have the beginnings of something beautiful, let's not smother the baby cause it's got teething pains. Patience & unity! YNWA
rajprdp
if rvp hadn't jumped ship we could have walked this league..manu ,city, chelsea all looking average..we need to sell Walcott and arshavin and get a striker and a winger during January and hope scezney can do his job well..also gibbs needs to improve his crossing...Wilshire and rosicky coming back is good news. DEFENCE:KOS,VER,MER,SAGNA,GIBBS,JENK,SANTOS MID:SANTI,RAMSEY,WILSHERE,DIABY,ROSICKY,ARTETA WINGERS:GERVINHO,OX,PODOLSKI,NEW PLAYER STRIKERS:GIROUD,NEW PLAYER stoke(away),Liverpool(away),mancity(away),sunderland(home) and southampton(home) considering the away matches we have had 9 points is not bad ..but a victory against Chelsea could be a good launch pad for the season.
