Shadoken
Capcom, Namco Bandai, Sega Working on 3DS Game During Nintendo's Direct broadcast it was announced that three major publishers - Namco Bandai, Capcom and Sega - are teaming up for a new 3DS project. Details, as you can imagine, are scarce, but a teaser trailer was shown, followed by a website containing images of a vault. Are we going back to the vault to dust-off some cherished but neglected franchises? could it be?? Street Fighter X Tekken X Streets of Rage X Dragon Ball Z Source Edit : Teaser Site Edit 2 : ok so Banpresto being the developer means it could be either a fighting game(DBZ SS warriors on GBA) or Super robot Wars (handheld again , RPG) ..... using characters from all 3 Publishers... Shadoken
So it most likely might be this ... Super Robot Wars is a series of tactical role-playing video games produced by Banpresto, which is now a Japanese division of Namco Bandai. The main feature of the franchise is having a story that crosses over several popular mecha anime, manga and video games, allowing characters and mecha from different titles to team up or battle one another. The first game in the franchise was released for the Nintendo Game Boy on April 20, 1991. Later spawning numerous games that were released on various consoles and handhelds. Due to the nature of crossover games and licensing involved, only three games have been released outside of Japan, these games only feature Banpresto's own original characters and mecha. The franchise celebrated its 20th anniversary in 2011. I think for the 20th anniversary they are doing this... am guessing Megaman (Capcom) and Virtual ON(Sega) will be in this ..... guess its pretty much confirms no Western Release ... Shadoken
Following this project's announcement by Nintendo CEO, Satoru Iwata, the official site was updated with pixels that gamers started referring to as, 'chromosomes,' which resemble some of the minimalistic artwork Capcom has shown in the past on their official blog. ScrewyAurum
More details are popping up about Project X Zone, the Namco Bandai, Sega, and Capcom 3DS project. Now we get to see what it looks like. It was reported by GI on Wednesday that the game will feature iconic characters from the three companies mentioned above. It's a tactical RPG where teams of two fight one another. It's going to be for 3DS and appears to feature miniaturized versions of characters you know and recognize. You can see Ryu and Ken from Street Fighter in the screens.
