Controllers for PC

I use XBOX controller for racing and sport titles.

Most of the games have native controller support. Some of them don't, but can be played via 3rd party application.

List of games on steam that support partial and full controller support.

^ Under both cases it will be useless to play with a controller.

FPS because almost 99% of the PC crowd you will go up against will be on mouse and keyboard and PC does not have aim assist and RTS because the controller is not supported to actually play those genres of games.

i m planning to build a PC ... mostly for work ... thought if games have controller support i would put in a high end graphics card ...

Games have controller support but you will be dominated if you use a controller in a FPS on PC.

Most RTS titles do not support controllers, some like Civilizations are trying to step-up but it will be some time before it becomes as natural as a keyboard and mouse.

Hi Guys,

I am using a PS2 controller on PC to play DBC 14 and amazing spider man 2. Problem I am facing is my right analog stick works differently. When I press it on left side it it works as UP key, When I press it Upwards , It works as Left Key.

So If I have to move my player forward, I have to press it left. It is happening in both the games :( . I am unable to configure it or change it.

Any help will be great ...

Cheers

^ Find out about applications like Motioinjoy / Xpadder which allow you to reconfigure third-party controllers on PC.

Also, what brand controller are you using, you can go to the official site / page of the same and try downloading a driver-configuration tool if that has been provided.

Next time make your own thread instead of hijacking others.
