Batman Vs Superman: Spoilers discussion thread

HOLY sh*t what a movie.

Stays true to the comics unlike any other DC crap so far.

-Doomsday grows horns
-Death of Superman story line
-Flash time travel
-Injustice story line hinted
-AQUAMANNNN
-Dark Sied is coming
-Batman is bad a*s

Some things which are confusing/misunderstood by many:

1. That wasn't entirely a dream sequence. It was a nod to Injustice Storyline. In fact, the entire "dream sequence" was probably a future vision OR an alternate universe, where Superman becomes a tyrant after Lois is killed by Joker, and Superman blames Batman for it because he never killed Joker when he had a chance. Since they showed Parademons working with Superman's forces, it seems it was kind of a vision.

2. That guy warning Bruce, was actually Flash (Ezra Miller), from the future using Speedforce. It seems he went back too far by mistake i.e. before formation of Justice League, and hence Bruce doesn't know him. That's why he says: "Too soon Bruce, too soon?" Also he says Lois is the key, again the nod to point 1.

3. Superman dying is PERFECT. That is Death of Superman storyline. Doomsday kills Superman in comics. Its then revealed that Superman never died, his heart beat became so slow that everyone presumed he was dead.

4. In the end when Lex says Devil is coming, and those in the stars know that god (Superman) is dead, he means that Darsied is coming. It seems all this was planned by Darksied, to systematically take out Superman before he can invade earth.

5. Batman killing is OKAY. This is TDKR version of Batman, not that pansy Nolan Batman. Read more here: http://comicbook.com/2016/03/24/zack-snyder-explains-why-batman-kills-in-batman-v-superman-dawn-/

The costume of future flash was a WTF moment. I asked the guy beside me who is that even supposed be & he said probably the flash, I was like what?

Also how can he access the dreams of another person? I've never seen speedforce work like that

It wasn't a dream. It was a time travel sequence, left as ambiguous for us. Also, that supposed dream sequence seemed more like a vision from alternate universe, where Lois is dead and Superman takes over ala Injustice story line.

The way Flash says, "Too soon Bruce, too soon??" It indicates he jumped back too far behind i.e. before formation of JL.

Affleck wakes up after Barry finishes tho :/

Why would Bruce get a vision from an alternate timeline though? You sure that sequence isn't from their future?

How was the audience response to the film if you don't mind me asking? :P

There were claps at the ending.

-Huge whistles during Batman vs Superman fight. When Batman beats the sh*t out of Superman, people cheered. Then when Superman beats sh*t out of Batman, again huge cheers.

-Biggest cheer was when WW comes in the battle.

-Ending was very silent and people were like WTF. I was LIKE HOLY sh*t THIS IS DEATH OF SUPERMAN STORYLINE.

Multiverse visions are a thing. Also, it was made to look like it was a dream. It can be their current future if Bruce doesn't stop Lois from dying. If he stops, then everything is fine.

If he doesn't, Superman becomes a tyrant and hence the dream actually is future.

Hmm, one thing though its not much as saving Lois thing, because IIRC Supes said "You took her from me" implying Bruce killed her in the first place (intentional or not). One more on his already inflated kill count in this movie :/

Same here. Gadot was pretty decent as WW with her mannerisms. Accent held up

Batman kills all many times in comics. Its that pseudo Nolan crap that make people believe he doesn't. He has killed the Joker FFS. Also, Superman blames Batman for Lois because Batman doesn't kill Joker many times when he had the chance, and then Joker goes and kills Lois. So Superman blames Batman. All this is because Superman is under the influence of God of War.

Also her music was awesome too.
