ragerr
hi i am new here, i have a pressing issue. my parents are coming from usa in a week and i was thinking of getting the xbox 360 console + kinect from usa but then i found out of the voltage difference issues and region lock concern for using the console in india. so i am considering buying the console from india but the kinect sensor from usa ( save 5000 buck if bought from usa) my concern is wether the kinect sensor bought from usa will work in india with the console purchased from india or would the region lock issue and also would the voltage difference become a problem and the kinect will not work. also even if i buy the entire system from usa can i tackle the voltage issue buy using a transformer or buying a new adapter (i figured that the ntsc games can be taken care of by importing the games online) also will there be any custom duty on getting the console or the kinect into india guys please help me out, its extremely urgent thanks

skull'n'bones
MS has discontinued providing Indian compatible power adapters very recently for the consoles with different input power. It costs roughly around 2.2 to 2.5K in open market... I have one lying with me... in case if it helps you... I can sell it off...

Ph3N0M
I think yes, as those are region free IIRC. EDIT: Yep, both of them are region free, as confirmed by Play-Asia: http://www.play-asia.com/Call_of_Duty_Black_Ops_II/paOS-13-71-bp-49-en-70-4qlf.html http://www.play-asia.com/Halo_4/paOS-13-71-dh-49-en-70-49m3.html
