This was just a CG trailer. Rocksteady is using UE3 for this game.

are you sure about using UE3 for this game ? The CG trailer quality in game graphics is not impossible for PC and current gen ps4

  • Takes place after one whole year from Arkham City

Rocksteady's final "Batman" game and the last Arkham title. Don't look into plot points here much.

Going by series tradition and WB Games release window, most probably an October release.

Unconfirmed whether the game runs on UE3/4.

Kevin Conroy returns

Bats is at his peak in AK juxtaposing what he was in AO.

Plot revolves heavily on Azrael's ( Michael Lane ) prophecy in AC and Scarecrow is one among who orchestrates it, Others from the rogues gallery like Ra's, Hush, to play key roles too.

Not known whether Paul Dini is writing.

According to their press release:

NetherRealm Studios and Rocksteady Studios Will Utilize Engine Exclusively Through 2014

Burbank, Calif. - March 17, 2011 - Warner Bros. Interactive Entertainment today announced a long-term studio-wide license agreement with Epic Games to use the award-winning Unreal Engine 3.

The development software will be available for any team developing a Warner-published game across PC, console and mobile platforms and, through 2014, will be the exclusive game engine used on projects being developed by Rocksteady Studios who are currently working on Batman: Arkham City and developed the critically acclaimed hit Batman: Arkham Asylum for WBIE/DC Entertainment, and NetherRealm Studios, the team behind award-winning Mortal Kombat franchise for WBIE.

OMG YES YES YES YES

Trailer was so good. Finally we have a true open world Batman game. Next gen means it will not be restricted by current systems anyways.

Hmm how are they gonna reconcile Batmans "Wont kill anyone" with my homicidal "must run over EVERYONE" driving style?

Play Driver San Fransisco and tell me how many people you run over.
