It was only posted in the Rage game thread. But a news of this magnitude definitely deserves its own thread :P

Especially when its more sensible than the threads the PS3 fanboys keep creating - "Pet dog pees on 360 but leaves PS3 alone" or "Noby Noby Boy too advanced for 360" and the like..

"The RSX is slower than what we have in the 360. The CPU is about the same, but the 360 makes it easier to split things off, and that's what a lot of the work has been, splitting it all into jobs on the PS3".

for the last time.......

it was worth every bit of it

what watching him smoke?? pls, atleast it shouldve been like the assasin's creed load screen where u get to move altair in a void . besides the smoking part even those messages like "DONT PLAY FOR TOO LONG U MIGHT GET A STROKE" are pretty annoying and lame. Anyway enough OT about MGS4 , lets talk about how rage sucks on the ps3 :hypocrite:

Damn those developers, if its hard to develop on PS3 then do f**king hard work  I dont think they study properly

Shame. You'd think nearly three years into the console's lifespan, someone would have figured out a way around this by now. Unless, you know, there is no way around it.

He is, however, confident that the PS3 version will match that of all other supported platforms: “Everything is designed as a 60 hertz game. We expect this to be 60 hertz on every supported platform.”

“The work remaining is getting it locked so there’s never a dropped frame or a tear, but we’re confident that we’re going to get that.”

carmack also said this in the article btw.
