Sky Sports reports RM is ready to match Arsenal's €50million evaluation of Cesc... 10mil more than what Barca can offer!!

& now, Suarez too dreams of playing in a Barca jersey!!

Any team which shells money is linked to high profile players... It used to be Chelsea who was blatantly linked more than Manc with such targets...

BTW, Sanchez was primary target for Barca & Manc since January but Udinese said no.. I remember Manc even made an approach but was instantly rejected..

It was Manu and then Chelsea who actually started showing interest...

Quality players who are interested in moving will be linked to top clubs and Manc is becoming one of them.. So, if Manu & Manc together get linked to a player, it'll be the naivety of anyone to think Manc tend to steal Manu targets & vice-versa...

yu could have just looked a couple of posts ahead & find the answers yurself!!

but i read somewhere on the net maybe on goal.com that he is not interested in real that much, its either barca or gunners for him.

no other club afterall barca hi to uska hometown hai :)

still cant say what will happen.have to wait for the official news which i guess will take long time to come.

Actually I read an article sometime back about this case...

We all know that Mourinho didn't get along well with Valdano. Mourinho is a power-hungry person as he wants to call the shots and be the person who takes all the key decisions regarding the 1st team. Valdano, sporting director of Real, hindered with a lot of decisions which Mourinho obviously didn't appreciate.

This boiled to a situation where it would have to be either Mourinho or Valdano at real.

Foxy Mourinho started talking openly in press about his unhappiness at RM and his desire to move back to BPL, indirectly even knocking on Chelsea's door by not denying when asked about his possible 2nd coming to Stamford Bridge...

Obviously this was all his play to inflict the fear within RM hierarchy that he wouldn't hesitate to move away from Madrid... This together with Ronaldo's stance of quitting if Jose left, got Valdano the axe...

Well played Mourinho, yet again!!

DailyMail reports that Chelsea are eying Theo Walcott to continue the Arsenal exodus as 3 departures are already imminent!!

I do want Chelsea to apply wing play into their tactics, but I'm not sure whether Walcott will be allowed to leave... If it really happens, then I see the 5th departure from Arsenal in the name of Arsene Wenger!!

It would never happen becoz unlike the other 3(clichy,nasri and fab), walcott is settled at arsenal and is on a long term contract... Nd people have already decided that all three of them are definitely going to be sold just based on media reports which are 95% of the time wrong...

Wenger is not that stupid to let his 3 main players go without first fighting for them or getting in their replacements!!

Just goes to show that he's a good tactician off the pitch as well. Argentina - tsk tsk tsk and Colombia showing their regular Copa form.

Its very likely that all 3 of them will. Clichy deal will be confirmed this week. I think its been completed. Nasri, depending on who gives a better offer, we should complete. And if Barca make an acceptable bid for Cesc, we will complete the transfer.

Nobody would really mind if clichy goes, even though I feel he is a good enough defender but overall it wud be good for arsenal if we freshen up our back 4 next season...

And as for other 2 players, as I have said there are a lot of ifs and buts for them to be considered a done deal and personally I hope that atleast one of them stays preferably fabregas and the worst case would be for both of them to go...

I don't see this happening at all. He'l definitely not get the exposure he's getting at Arsenal anywhere else.

Talking about Walcott being a winger, I begin to wonder if he is one. I remember he was that wonder-kid striker when he was signed from Southampton in 2006. Ever since, We've heard Wenger say that he will soon move into a more central position and play as a forward. I haven't seen that happen at all. I just get a feeling he might do a lot better if he is played as a forward.

On FAB leaving, we can expect a good sum of money coming in. Can you think of any apt replacement that Wenger could do? Whatever names we've been hearing in the news so far, does not excite me at all as I don't replacement for FAB in any kind.

Or, is Wenger just going to play Wilshire in his position and be content with it? I seriously hope a big name signing happens. Sneijder may be a good choice.

This is assuming we get a sum between 40m and 50m for Cesc, or otherwise we shouldnt let him go.

Personally, I think the team needs a revolutionary change. Which means I want us to be less reliant on a single play-maker. Wilshere and Ramsey should cover creativity side. Instead, I want us to sign a proper forward who is established and a world class player. Basically Villa or Benzema or players of a similar mold. As for midfield, I feel we desperately need to sign Scott Parker. Irrespective of whether Cesc is there or not. More imperative we sign him if Cesc leaves. Wilshere and Parker will take care of the gritty part of the central midfield which teams need, to have a real bite(remember Vieira, Keane, Parlour). As for defence, if we sign Cahill or Samba Id be happy, preferably Cahill though, as hes English. Vermaelen and Cahill would form a superb solid and gritty partnership as well. I trust Djourou and Koscielny as back up. I wouldnt spend on the GK unless we have excess funds.

Ive read that Arsene has planned to play Vela as Left Back. Im like wtf, but it worked with Ashley Cole, maybe it would work with Vela too. Im not too sure, but I dont think we should be experimenting with a striker at left back, next season. He'll probably be tested in Pre-season and then if he doesnt do well, sign a left back.

Midfield, we seemed to have signed Gervinho. Good signing, but not enough. He'll be off for ACON and we wont have anyone to replace him. Theo is too injury prone to trust for the entire season. We need to sign another couple of players here. Rosicky is dead beat. Hes useless. The only reason he is still here is because he is Cesc's best friend and if he goes, Cesc will get unhappy(like when Flam and Hleb left).
