If only he hadn't flatspotted his right front in Nurburgring in 2005 :wallbash:

that one race didn't make the difference he failed in many other races just because of the unreliable car he had and in 2006 they had a reliable car but no pace :thumbdown:

And in 2003 when he lost championship by just 2 points, he blew the engine in two races in which he was comfortably leading.

don't you know in 2003 Mclaren was still using the crappy 2002 chasis and not only Kimi but DC also faced unreliable Mclaren failures :thumbdown:

^^ Did you forget the engine failure on the closing laps of the hungarian grand prix ?

He would have won the championship by almost 20 points if this would not have happened :(

Talking of McLaren destroying careers due to unreliability, the 2001 season for Hakkinen still brings tears to my eyes :(

 

The Austrian GP was a real kick in his guts.
