I always assumed UC4 was getting delayed coz they want to hit 60 fps which they couldn't when they demoed ( maybe coz of the weak hardware)

;)

60fps is hard man....

Forget Devil's Third and Star Fox, hardly any info surrounding them

Nintendo is publishing that shitty looking Itagaki game ?

LOL the idea of a first party developer making a game and then years in going, guys WTF we needed more RAM/whatever for this is hilarious.

Imagine saying that about the delay to UC 4 and watch the same people freak out.

you know what's funny.... the one developer that actually forgot the retail boxes had way worse specs while making the game was bungie back while making halo 2. looks like they dont count anymore cause no exclusive. ;)

Eh? The 3D Zelda games have always missed their release schedule irrespective of hardware. This is a non-news really.

Showing mind-blowing graphics demo for new console and then switching pallet mid development is another thing 3D Zelda is consistent with :P

This year they have Splatoon, Yoshi's wooly world, Starfox, Project Giant Robot, Project Guard, Xenoblade Chornicles X. plus something unannouced so doesn't matter even if its delayed..Besides i believe even Ocarina of Time was delayed for N64 way back just like this...

Been watching treehouse gameplay videos. The game scenery is fantastic and the use of weather effects is great. The world is very dynamic effects with lots of little details like the grass blowing to the wind, leaves fluttering, birds flying inbetween. This visual style and details more than makes up for the lack of graphical fidelity. You can just roam around the plateau aimlessly and find so much stuff. Gliding, snowboarding and horse riding will make exploration even more fun. Also you can climb any mountain, hills or trees.

With such a huge open world one might think the focus on gungeons/shrines might have been taken a toll, but not at all. The shrines shown in treehouse are amazing with great level design, mysterious nature and loads of puzzles. There are about 100 shrines like them.

The gameplay options are ridiculously diverse with loads of items. The mounted combat also looked amazing. Best addition to the game has to be the game physics though, lots of interesting mechanics like fire, rolling bounders, bombs, magnet.

Game reminds of OoT, where after talking with great tree and go outside of village you find a big area to explore, only here the area isn't empty like in OoT. Everything looks perfect as if this is gonna be a definitive zelda experience.

Only thing missing is a companion, with such a huge world it'l fun to have a companion. I am guessing they are leaving the reveal of companion for later.

wolf companion comes with amiibo(i think). Should have made this companion in the normal game.

Its mind blowing how they made a game with so many gameplay options even with a week console. Its almost as if all the other big devs in the industry are so focused on the graphics and marketing they are overlooking on how they can bring fun elements to a game with simple and effective game design choices.

^^ Most other AAA devs dont really invest too much time/money into Gameplay. From an investors standpoint , you need to invest a lot of time and money into it. But it is an aspect that cant really be marketed , unlike Graphics and visuals.

I guess so. But still having a good gameplay will in-turn help the franchise in long run. Since most AA games get sequels good gameplay elements can be used in sequels too.
