The history of 12BG dates back to the dawn of the civilization now known as IVGians. It was then, a man decided to give up his Ferrari to become a monk. And so he sets sail to the high waters of Gen Chat to give away his stuff to those who are worthy enough to hold it. These stuff included important scriptures (known as artbook, these days), recordings of the battles of yesteryears (old games/blurays), and other earthly possessions of the man. But he realised it was difficult to find the worthy successor for his wealth, so he decided on a completely new methodology (much like that fish's eye from Mahabharata). All that the candidates have to do, was to display their prowess at exactly "12:00 AM" and not even a minute later. Thus started the great new tradition named "12 Baj Gaye" or "12BG. Later, thanks to the generosity of that monk, he was named IVG's Santa (a nod to a religion named Christian) by the ruler of the IVGian dynasty and his ministers (read Root Admin and admins/mods). The time of 12:00AM is now considered as the holy way for fellow monks (read: Piper) to find the worthy successor for their earthly possessions.
