the game-play is anything beyond i could imagine for a 2d platformer.

NG+ is amazing.this is must must buy folks,do not miss it any cost. :arigato::thumbsup:

so far as hardware is concerned runs on my amd 7750 with 4 gb ram like a charm.

this year all the indi devs and small studios have proven that they are quite better in anyways then those AAA bullshit stuff.

Just finished the game. Very, very impressed. Looks great, plays even better. Great mix of puzzles, platforming and stealth.

For those who finished it...

(ending spoilers)

I killed the girl in the end (i.e. committed sepukku)

Curious to know what happens if you pick the other option.

Mark of the Ninja Special Edition DLC Announced

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=hOwMtZCncFs

Mark of the Ninja Special Edition Details & Trailer

We're happy to announce the Mark of the Ninja Special Edition DLC! We
built Mark of the Ninja to be a complete experience, both in terms of
its mechanics and its narrative. But after the tremendous response we
received, we felt we should do something special for everyone that
supported us and the game.

We thought about what a "Criterion Collection" version of the game would
look like, and that's how we've approached Mark of the Ninja Special
Edition.

Special Edition Features

• A new level, set in a flashback to the early life of Dosan that will
set the stage for the events that transpire in Mark of the Ninja.

• A new style of play, which includes a nonlethal takedown ability, and
provides a hybrid of lethal and nonlethal approaches to the game.

• Two new items, one more geared to stealth and concealment and one a
bit more direct. Both the items and the new play style will be available
in the main game as well as the new level.

• Finally, we've added a ton of developer commentary to the main game.
All the original levels will feature a number of commentary nodes that
discuss various aspects of the game's creation, anecdotes, at least two
history lessons and other behind the scenes info from nearly everyone on
the team.

• Developer commentary has been fully localized for English, French, Italian, German, Spanish, and Japanese.

For anyone who has already played Mark of the Ninja, we're hoping the
Special Edition will give them a reason to revisit the game with both
new challenges and insights, much as you'd watch the director's
commentary of one of your favourite movies.

The Special Edition will be available as DLC on Xbox Live Arcade and Steam. It will be released this summer.

Dlc is free?

Dunno but from the phrasing of the press-release it seems that people who already have the game should get a free upgrade.

If no, it will feel odd to me. It is essentially the same game with an extra level + 2 new tools + a non-lethal take down move.
