Aftrunner
Could be good. Actually it could be great. The DS would be perfect for the painting techniques. Wonder if they will go for full on Zelda type touch controls or stick movement to Dpad.
Keyofx
The screen in the center looks like it uses a standard third person (or wolf) camera, which means movement would have to use the D-pad.
Aftrunner
Screens on the left and right have a more Zelda like view, so the one in the middle could be a cutscene.
Keyofx
A cutscene wouldn't have a visible HUD. The left and right screens could just be room entry cutaways where the camera moves to show you the lay of the land. Or just a static camera for that particular section of the level. Okami on the PS2 had a bunch of immovable scene-setting camera moments in it.
Aftrunner
Hmm you could be right. I still hope that its touch control though. Mario 64 wasnt much fun to control with the Dpad. 3D games never are. Zelda had its flaws but the controls worked superbly.
Keyofx
More Details About New Okami Game The full title for upcoming DS Okami game is Okamiden: Chisaki Taiyou, and the title takes place a few months after the PlayStation 2 original and features a new wolf named Chibiterasu. Gameplay is similar to the PS2 version where players will draw out characters with the in-game brush. However, the DS title will obviously use the Touch Pen. The original Okami designer Hideki Kamiya is not involved with the title as he has left Capcom. Instead, the title is being produced by Ace Attorney Investigations producer Motohide Eshiro and directed by Kuniomi Matsushita, who directed the Wii port of Okami. According to Matsushita, the reason why the game is on the DS is that Capcom wants more people to experience the world of Okami. The title is currently 25 percent finished and expected for release in 2010.
